A Happy new year everybody!

I know i am little eary, but as most people i will spend the evening with some friends, so here it goes in advance!

Acompanying this happy new years wishes will be a little update video for dungeons of sex. Over the holidays i finally got some time to work on some vids again! Yay! My next devjournal will again consist of multiple sections, one of wich i will post a link to later today. The other sections will be linked here once they finish. I am doing this in this split up way because i at least wanted to give you _something_ before the end of the year :)

The first part might be a little dry, it's a timelapse of me implementing the wall visibility feature and talking a little about the process. The next video, wich i will most likely have finished up somewhere next week, i will be talking and shwoing more of what game exactly to expect and the two characters i will start with for the alpha access version.


I again want to say to each of you how grateful i am for your support! The last year has just been crazy for me, there have been a lot of life-changing occurances, and most turned out to be for the better by far! Most of all the great financial support and hardware donations i've received from the community after the release of A walk home. It moves me to tears that there obviously are a lot of people out that really want to see me succeed in my enedavours, that simply feels amazing. And i sure don't intend to let you guys down! A first somewhat playable version of dungeons of sex is creeping closer and closer, i still be cautious with talking about a release date for an early acces just yet.

I love you guys so much, wish you a very happy and fulfilling new year 2019!

 So for this character i did the concepts, and a first sculpt wich you might have seen before on my Patreon. Greex took my sculpt as a base and made the character model from it. Then i did the Texturing and rigging and stuff, and we are getting very close to her final looks ^_^

Kemonokun Character Download

The Version of the Kemonokun Character i currently use for my Animations.

Please let me know if this Setup works for you like this :)   Fur System is set up, only hidden in viewport and the character is rigged with Rigify.

You can use him in your own animations, renders and so on, use him as a base for your own characters or just as a scene to play around with and learn from

Cancelling some projects to focus on Dungeons of Sex

Over the last couple of months I started a lot of projects and tried out a lot of things. 


I wanted to foster the furry game dev community, but it has reached the point where I am afraid that both projects would suffer from trying to do too much at once. I don’t want that and I simply have to react now if I want to make Dungeons of the Sex the game I want it to be.


Starting all those different projects was well intentioned, but ultimately too much. Seems that knowing that traps like "trying to do too much" exist was not enough to keep myself from falling for it.


I think in one of my videos I even joked about so many game projects failing and that I was 100% sure I could avoid those traps. I am so sorry to disappoint you guys.


Even the people I talked to personally all agree with me on this. I can't do both. 


So for the moment that means that I will instead be focusing on the game 100%. I will of course still be present in the Discord-channel.


As for the tutorials I promised: 

I recorded a lot for them, but in all honesty, you don’t need me at all to start out right now. Download Blender and watch a beginner course. Make your first models, keep at it and your art will improve. I think in my videos I mostly talked about that it’s important not to panic and take it one step at a time. Just the one thing I didn’t do when making those tutorials.


I still highly encourage you to find and join up a group on Discord, Telegram or wherever you can talk to other 3D artists and get feedback on your work.

There are some other great channels out there, and if you search on Youtube you will also easily find that there are some videos by people showing how they create their furry characters. There is nothing I could possibly add to all the information that is already out there available for free.

I'll focus 100% on making Dungeons of Sex for now, instead of spreading my resources too thin.

You will die in the end but that's ok [unfinished game concept - non furry - non adult] (ca 2014-2015)

A build of one of my earliest Unreal Engine Projects ever for everyone interested! (i made it like 3-4 years ago when i was making my very first steps in Unreal Engine)

Please exit the Game using ALT+F4 

There is not all too much to do. The Idea is that you progress through different life stages, and random events form the character, withough the player having more influence on the character than setting a general direction for how the life should be lived.

Every step of the way there is a small chance of the character dying, the chance is is actually based on real death statistics for the current age group. 

Only the "Baby" stage is actually playable, there is a ground layout of the "Kids" level in there, but nothing will be happening there. The Levels from teenager years to elderly are in there too but unacessible (and there wouldn't be any events yet anyway so...)


Even though the chance of the player actually dying is very low, there are already a bunch of different deaths in there! If you take into consideration that only the "Baby" stage actually has any events and put 1+1 together you might understand why at some pont i found working on this game only freaking depressing and stopped XD

AWH Asset - Feral Dog Enemy (Blendfile + .fbx)

Zipfile includes the feral dog enemy as it was used in A Walk Home.

The File includes:

The orignal Blendfile (with all animations saved as actions, plus one "sculpting basemesh" for feral characters you could use if you want, my own orignal sculpt and the unrigged mesh on the additional layers.

The six texture variations for the enemy used in the Game

The Original .fbx files with all Animation sequences you can use in own 3D software or Game Engine of choice!

Robot Surrogate Character

Simple Robot Like Character for your Games and projects :)

He was originally designed for a Game Project of a friend a couple of years back. The Game never came to be as of now, but it'd be a shame to just let this little guy's story end there :)

Character is rigged in a very basic was, basic Material Setup.

Inkedfur Account approved! Prints can now be ordered :3

So, you guys remember those ridicoulisly high res images i posted earlier? If you want those on your wall at home, now you can! :3

Inkedfur is a service that let's you easily order prints, from a tiny one for your desk to a whole wall scroll, online! There are already a bunch of awesome Artists on there offering their Art for Prints, and through the support of you guys i am finally also able to render in such high Resolutions and can do the same :3


Right now i am still settling in and setting everything up, and i will announce it on my galleries with corresponding uploads, but i wanted to let you guys know first hand, i am really excited about this ^^

Greex did the Character Design, and he and his friends and family will be an enemy race in Dungeons of Sex :3

Greex did the character design, sculpt, mesh and base textures. I did the Rigging, Animating, lighting, rendering and compositng and of course already started to prepare this guy for use in Dungeons of Sex.

Sam High Quality Render [Model by Greex]

I have long talked about me Partnering up with Greex for better content, and this wonderful little fella is the first product of our combined efforts :3   The Character Idea and Design was made by Greex, who also did the Sculpt, Model and basic Texures. I did some detailing and reworking on the Textures and Shaders, build and lighted the Scene, did the compositing and Rendering. 


And yes, this is the little cutie you might have seen creeping around in the Background of Dungeons of Sex in my Devjournal videos ^^

Allright, i can't express how happy i am! Most of my workflow for high quality rendering is set up. It's only a few months that i am even able to set up a scene with this much Detail thanks to the wonderful support of Luskfoxx and my Patrons.

So this Character will be used as the basic template for the entire Character Workflor for Dungeons of Sex :3    Most of the work here is all stuff you don't even see! This guy sports an entire new Rigify rig, is ready for Unreal Engine. There will still of course be a lot of visual changes and polishing on him, but we are getting real close to what i imagine the character to look like *^_^*

King Avogadro Civilization 6 Leader Animation (commission by Avory Lo'Raven)

Finally done :3    This is pretty much the "longest in production" Animation i've ever done ^^    There has been countless reworks on every little Detail, but i feel it was really worth it! ^_^

Avory did the voice himself and provided the Background. This is the first of a series of Animations for a Civilization 6 Mod he is working on :)

Furry Game Jam! -Retrospective

First Furry Game Jam Concluded!

 The first Furry Game Jam on our Discord server has concluded! I am happy  to announce that we have one more Game in this world, two promising  projects started and from the feedback i got, everyone learned and had  fun! So far the consens is that we definatly do this again!

And definatly check out "Blasterboi", the Entry by Team "I Like Whiskey"  - a retro style action sidescroller with multiple levels, enemies and  bosses! This Game really shows what can be done in only a week and you  can download it directly over the Homepage.
 

We had two other Projects going on, but both sadly failed to deliver  something playable within the week - the Team i myself has been working  in, Team "Flying Fux". But both projects will be explored further by  their Teamleaders, and both leaders have announced that they will  continue working on the games outside of the Jam.
 

If there is interest for this kind of Stuff i'd gladly do a little  Youtube Video of what happened, show some of the work we have done and  talk a little bit about the entire thing :)
