The fan art sale and other ideas.

The Fan Art sale is going a little less stellar than I had expected, so I was curious, should I do just an adult-art sale? Something else? Any thoughts?

Food themed art!

I don't know why both of these involve food as a theme, but here they are. A horny-toad lady making a salad, and a gamorrean eating his soup. Our of BB-8's severed head.

Both of these pieces were done on an 8.5 X 11 inch canvas at 400 dpi on Autodesk Sketchbook. That's the size I do basically everything at, because I have this weird misconception that I need everything to be easy to print, but at a scale that I can size it up if I need to.

The Horny Toad lady was my attempt to sta...

Lunch Time

Finished my Gamorrean Guard piece! He's got his lunch box and his bowl.

Done in Autodesk Sketchbook with my ratty old intuos3 tablet. I've considered upgrading, but I honestly haven't found a good reason to.

FAN ART SALE: Saturday September 21!

I'm selling off some originals at a few different price points. There's a couple sketches, a pencil finished piece, some marker pieces, an ink piece, and a watercolor. There may be another sale soon, of just NSFW art of mine, too.

The sale will take place on my FurAffinity:  http://www.furaffinity.net/user/coypowers/

Thank you!

Blue Pencil Sketches

Three girl sketches! The first is Ivy in a pair of patterned stockings, then Judy Hopps pulling a Bomber Nose-art pin-up pose, and then the unicorn from my little side project. Her armor's not yet fully locked down. I think I want it more stereotypically 'girly' a little, as much as that sort of thing makes me uncomfortable in the modern age!

I've actually already started inking the Judy. Not sure what I'll do with the other two, yet.

Also, in case anyone is curious, I tend to mos...

WIPs and Sketches. again.

Gonna be mailing out rewards today! Also been working on commissions, but I got a little work done in between. Here's progress on the goat gal, a sketch of a terrible mermaid and a glance at a potential mini comic.

Inktober is coming!

Since my financial stuff has changed so drastically since last year, and we're probably going to be moving in November, I'm looking for some extra cash. As such, I'm thinking of selling my inktober pieces this year, each day as I make them, and I'm curious for your input!

Do you think I should set a fixed price, first come, first serve?  Or should I do an auction starting with a lower price point? Or some other model? I'm worried that some people may feel left out (or I just fail t...

WIPs

Some digital works in progress!

The first is some Star Wars fan art

The second is the gothy goat lady I did a sketch of earlier, still super rough

The last is an abandoned WIP of Jamie, a character from my comic.

There's a storm a comin'!

Hi everyone, and thank you all so much for supporting me this first month on Patreon! I've got a trip to make to the post office to send out rewards, but with Hurricane Dorian bearing down on Orlando so hard, I'm going to wait a couple of days to send them. I have a real paranoia that all the packages will get soaked and ruined, or somehow lost in all the weather.

I'll keep you all updated as to when I send them! Thank you all again!

Death and Mekaneck

I finished doing up the Mekaneck giraffe with copics (and the dark blue got clogged and DUMPED ink on the piece, but I mostly salvaged it. I may do a set of He-Man anthro characters, especially with He-Man preparing to be in the public consciousness again.

I also found a piece I did of Death from the Gaiman Sandman comics, so I scanned her and threw her in too.

Even more sketches!

I've been busy with commissions the last couple of days, so here's some more old sketches. Nothing special, save an old NSFW sketch of Tamara

Comic Book thumbnails

This is a different type of post. These are the thumbnails I draw before doing my comic's pages. Since they're only for me, and only need to be really rough to let me know what's going on, they look pretty indecipherable. Sometimes, they're barely anything at all!

Paint-over

In the quest for sustainable income in art, I've decided (thanks to Mara's example) to do paint-over touch-ups to a few of my pieces so I can put them up on Artstation and maybe land a job. This is the first of those, some before/after comparisons, even though I posted the 'after' before the 'for'. I have 'cart before the horse' mentality, I guess.
I don't think I did that much to the piece, but the background and both of the characters, I feel, benefited from the touch ups.

Another sketch dump

More sketches! This is mostly character stuff for my comic with a couple of random thrown in.

Sketch 1 is a tight sketch of Jua
Sketch 2 is a ball-point sketch of Stargirl from DC Comics
Sketch 3 is a unicorn character from a cartoon/comic/toy line property that Jua grew up with, in universe. The idea here was that I might make a figure of her.
Sketches 4 and 5 are both of the lion character from the same fictional property as the unicorn. He's the leader! I based him on 'Mr. L...

Working with a dip pen

Here's a couple of pieces done with india ink. It's something I've been doing a TON lately

The rabbit was done in Artists Ally at Megaplex as an advertisement for my ink commissions, and to warm up before I started inking paid work.

The dog was drawn last night. She's a direct result of my most popular print at the convention being a much older piece that was a feral dog in a similar pose. I toyed with feral art a little at someone's request, I think, back a few years ago, but dro...

Comic related sketches

Here's another little dump of sketches for my comic, Sunshine.

The first is a tight sketch of Lenny with one of this caretakers, Dorian.

The second is just random bits of Tamara.

Next is sketches of Jua's crappy little car.

The fourth is random Jua sketches, her paw, her butt, a shirt, etc.

Lindsey in a changing room was a piece I planned to do a digital finished version of, but never got around to!

and the last was from when I was trying to figure out Ivy'...

More art and sketches!

Most of these were done during Megaplex 2019 with the exception of the color piece. I don't remember when I did it, sometime in the last two or three months.

The coyote with a heart was done in india ink with a dip pen in artists alley. I did it to serve as an example of my ink work for the convention.

The pencil sketch of Mekaneck as a giraffe is a bit of He-Man fan art that I'm working on. Masters of the Universe is one of my primary obsessions, so combining it with furry work f...

WIPs and sketches

I'm still recovering from Megaplex, but I decided I needed to do some scanning! These are all from the same (barely touched) sketchbook, and they're all from last autumn, except the one that's clearly digital. It's new, and not in a sketchbook at all.

The roughest one, of Ivy (the nude sheep) is a work in progress. I intend to do a finished digital version of it.

The black sketch of Jua (the lioness) is probably as finished as it ever will be.

The Lindsey, nude on her ...

Lesbian sketch

I did this back in November, right before getting dumped, so it just totally got forgotten in all my new life crap.
Turns out, I still like this, so maybe I'll finish it up!

Random vixen doodle

Here's my first patrons only thing! Nudity! I did this with a ballpoint pen, it's an exercise I picked up randomly from someone on YouTube. Alphonso Dunn, I think.

Welcome to my patreon, and thank you!

BLOB FISH!

Let's start it off with something weird! I sculpted this little guy in super sculpey firm last month, and took a mold of him. I've cast him a few times (most of my resin was spent in a failed experiment. I'll show that off later) and I'm going to be putting him on my etsy shop.

I've got a love for toys, so it's really neat to be making them, even if this little guy isn't too exciting. He's a start. That's the important thing.

Also, welcome to my patreon! I'm nervous so I'm babblin...
