Sorry for the delay on this post. I was unexpectedly out of the house all day Friday, then yesterday I got one of the worst migraines I've had in a LONG time. Basically just in bed all day hoping the pain would end. (Also took benadryl which has the added 'benefit' of knocking me out). Anyway, here's 7 new pieces. The sale will likely be tomorrow, I think, unless I get really lucky about having any energy today.

There's a couple left to scan, and hopefully at least one more I can finish off, so here's 'wave 1' of these! I'm loving what the pencils add to my copics, but it also makes them take a bit longer. I'm particularly happy with how a couple of these came out, but I'm pleased with all of them, I think.

I intended to post these yesterday, but I was trying to finish the last one up, and by 3 a.m. I was just ready to pass out. I really like how the pencil over the markers looks though, a lot more texture and some richer color blends. This may be how I use the markers from now on. It's a bit more work, but I think it's worth it.

Got some ink stuff done! Here's a set of five of 'em. I got bad about scanning them as I finished, so I had to spend the morning doing that. Scanning and clean-up. Also briefly ran out of bristol, so a couple ended up on my gray tone paper. It's kinda fun to mess with sometimes.

I feel like I was scanning forever. Also, the copic markers make me feel like I spend more time refilling them than I do drawing, sometimes, but here's a bunch that should be in the next sale! I feel like I'm getting more competent with the markers, since I'm using them so much lately.
We had a big storm yesterday that took our power for a while, so I'm nervous that the weather will turn traitor again, but I'm aiming for putting up the sale tomorrow, if all goes to plan!

Our guest who came to help with my girlfriend's recovery has left, and the house is getting back to normal! I'll be able to get back into work shortly! As an update, my girlfriend's surgery went well, and she's recovering, but I'm basically stuck waiting hand-and-foot on her. Also our car finally decided that it was entirely too old, and the engine died on us. We're hopefully getting a 'new' one today, though. Things are just staying stupid busy, but I'm here and good!
Since I've not managed to get any real work done lately, I've taken photos of my sketchbook. it's all rough work, but it's something. Enjoy!
