SEGA City Paid: Alex Kidd In Miracle World

With me going through all of the Alex Kidd games, I had forgotten that I hadn't made many GIFs from the original game!

The only games I've yet to GIF out are the Miracle World remake (which you can get on PC or Xbox) and the Master System version of Lost Stars. The latter I have footage for, so I'll get to that soon!

SEGA City: Alex Kidd In Miracle World

I went and played through the whole of Alex Kidd In Miracle World, to add 50 new GIFs to the queue!

I played through the SEGA Ages version, which makes things a little easier with the ability to rewind. It's a brutally hard game.

I had seen the SEGA Genesis version in stores, heck, scanned the manual for VGAA, but I never actually LOOKED at the game before. And this Mighty Max game is just bizarre. Lot of jumping around, looking for stuff, and throwing it in a hole. Not what I was expecting.

This is actually a sequel to an even earlier PSOne game - Genei Tougi: Shadow Struggle. I'll have to look out for that one too I guess!

A prominent PSOne platformers for a lot of people - Toy Story 2 has you play as Buzz as you rush around the world as a small toy.

Hedgeblog Paid: Sonic Riders Zero Gravity Intros

An interesting change for Zero Gravity is HOW the characters animate from the start. In the original, they might have a slightly different animation depending on if they use a bike, board or skates. Here instead each character holds an "egg" item which then turns into that board, bike or skate when they go past the starting line.

Did you notice the little flashing square in the middle? In actuality, this is the demo being played - I removed the text from it by hacking the ISO, but couldn't remove the square. Wonder how many would notice :P
