With DKC having quite a lot of color use in fancy ways, making GIFs for it is a little hard sometimes! A game like Super Mario World, with its flat colors, means that a GIF doesn't "move" the coloration for several frames, making it smaller. DKC though, has a lot of color, so you sometimes need to cut it down to fit under 10MB.

Despite it all, I haven't actually made a new Donkey Kong Country GIF for Nintendo Metro since 2020 - outside of some winter ones. My switch from a Tumblr-based queue to a Google Sheet queue didn't add any either, so time to rethink it all!
I've added 30 new GIFs for the original DKC, from a variety of levels, and updated previous ones as well.

I've been pretty focused on PlayStation Park and SEGA City Lately, so I decided to jump over to some Nintendo stuff.
Star Fox 64 is a great game, but I haven't made many GIFs of it. Here I've used some footage from Longplays.org, which play far better than I could, and made 20 new GIFs for it!

Recently posted a call for what people would be keen to see more of on PlayStation Park. Part of that is a bunch of RPGs, so I decided to check out some Kingdom Hearts!
This uses Kingdom Hearts Final Mix - the PS3 conversion of the game, to allow for some cleaner GIFs overall.
I've added 27 GIFs. Right now it's only till the end of the Alice in Wonderland section, so I can definitely add more in the future.

After my few GIFs of One Piece: Grand Battle on the PlayStation 2 (Technically Grand Battle Rush in Japan - the 4th title), I went looking for some other One Piece titles - in this case, Grand Battle 2 on the PSOne.
While the PS2 title being more like a Power Stone game, this one is a little more like Smash Bros!

I haven't done many PSP games lately, so I decided to go back and check some out.
Ridge Racer (Ridge Racers in Japan) is a great racer on the platform. The game has a neat replay mode - but it kind of breaks on emulators. After about a minute it desyncs and the cars begin to just crash into walls.
Regardless, I've added 8 new GIFs from the game to the blog!

I'm curious if this game will get much traction on the blog - Apparently there was a bit of a resurgence of this game in the past few years. Anime games are also a bit hit or miss on whether people engage with it. Fun to see what people think!

I do love me an obscure fighting game for my various blogs. Looking some up on the PlayStation 2, I found this title! This came out in the US on the PSP, but there was also a PS2 version in Japan.
Also, i has a Watch mode, so I don't have to be actually good at the game to get footage!
