Hyperdrive 3.0 Finale

Jay woke up feeling wonderful. That wasn't surprising to him in the slightest, he hadn't had an ache or pain since his initial modification, but he still found himself well able to appreciate it. Every morning, he found something new to appreciate.

This morning he was grateful Amy was so firm yet still so squishy.

It seemed like a silly thing to take note of, but he was slowly learning to appreciate every part of her. Ever since his c...

CYOA Format Question

With the polls running, I thought I'd ask a follow up question:

How would you all like me to handle 'Bad Ends'. Decisions endemic to Choose Your Own Adventure stories that don't really end happily for the protagonists, but still conclude the story.

(Approval Poll rather than First Past the Post)

Megamacropolis Next

The choice we're making for the next stage of the Megamacropolis story. Public this month due to slowness.

Ends on Friday

Megamacropolis 3

You wake up in a hospital bed far too large for you. The covers around you and divot in the sheets suggest that something much larger was lying in this space recently. A blanket like an entire field lies at your feet, mercifully not on top of you.

You think to yourself that you should probably find a better way of navigating this world than passing out all the time.

Though to be fair, it was a VERY large needle.

Newspost

Hello everyone, I would like to apologize for my lack of communication this month. Megamacropolis does still go up tomorrow, despite my issues, and I would like to apologize for a rough month.

I should have at least given you guys periodic updates and news posts.

In that vein, sales tax is about to start. I have applied my settings so that only the three dollars required to view the exclusive posts will actually be taxed, as that is the only fee that results in direct access...

Hyperdrive 3.0 Ch. 3-4

Jay awoke surrounded by gold. Warm fuzzy sheets lay underneath him as he nestled into his pillow, unwilling to wake up entirely. The plush round curve felt amazing to his half-wakened mind... but it was so much LARGER than he could have imagined. The wolf ran his hands across it, looking for the edges, but he found himself completely unable to reach the end. Feeling very small, he started trying to push himself awake, opening his eyes to see where he was...

Carryover Month

Due to severe delays from quarantine and life, I have not been able to deliver for May. Due to this, the billing cycle for June has been paused and nobody will be charged come the first, instead, May's releases will occur during that month, hopefully with a little extra for your loyalty and patience.

Next Megamacropolis Poll

Bit slow last month, sorry about that, so two this time around, one more slightly awkward poll before the story gets into full swing... but what that swing is, it's time to decide

Megamacropolis 2

Hello everybody! Thank you so much for bearing with me, my computer died JUST before the end of last month, and I lost the first version of this story. I didn't fix it until the fifteenth, and from there I still didn't have access to Patreon for a while! A total disaster and I'm very sorry, rest assured, though, there is still time and you are getting another story this month... The CYOA is just getting moved to a midmonth sort of thing for a while. Vote will still be open for seven day...

Hyperdrive 3.0

Patreon story for my $20 tier! Ordinarily these are released as a mix of stories, but since we only have one guest, we get a couple chapters at once...

Chapter 1:

Amy felt like she could handle most things. Relationships, confrontation, money... a nuke to the face... none of those things were problems. This, though, this was a problem.

It was also a promotion, which made her feel terrible about complaining, but she simply didn't think she could handle...

Megamacropolis: The First Choice

Runs until next week. Now we're voting on the first course of action for our adventure. A (PS) in the title means its one of our Patron submitted options.

Megamacropolis: Protagonist

As an extra poll this month, I'm asking who our protagonist for the megamacropolis adventure should actually be.

...y'know, to start.

CYOA Update

To be more fair on patrons with busy schedules, going forward with Megamacropolis (which did win by the way, thanks for the turn out); the first week of every month is going to be the grace period for $7+ patrons to contribute their ideas for poll options; while the SECOND week will be actually voting on the poll.

That means idea deadline is the 8th of the month, in the meantime, enjoy the intro.

Megamacropolis 1

You usually didn't remember your dreams. Vague notions of falling and embarrassment, occasionally mixed with spicier thoughts of love and giantesses, that was all you retained upon waking. This time, though, you had all your awareness about you. The images before you were as vivid as any you'd ever seen in the waking world.

A great city built into the sides of a crater stretches out on all sides before you. Skyscrapers line the walls, buildings built taller and e...

Patreon CYOA

We've hit that threshold, and so it's time. I'm making an ongoing CYOA story right here on patreon. $7 up patrons can suggest options (to go alongside the two options I provide), and patrons as low as $1 will be able to vote for the next option. On the eighth, the polls will close and the consequences of your choice will become a continuation of the story out before the end of the month!

THIS poll, though, is an extra special one. This poll is open to everyone and decides our...

Precious Medicals

(Starring a longtime patron. Enjoy as the culmination of her research works out in a big way... with Amy along to mess things up, of course.)

Sarah peered through the microscope at the complex DNA strand that was in front of her. It was a work of art to her light green eyes. The DNA of a dragon, extracted from some fossils they had found. At least that is what they thought. It was certainly reptilian of some kind. This was of course just a sample, some more of the DNA w...

Cutting Room Floor: Short Shorts

Stories that didn't make it far enough to have more than an intro. Stories scrapped before they even began... I've got those. Two at a time, because they're simply not enough for basics. But hey, if there's interest, maybe they'll come back.

1. This was to be a lighthearted slime girl character's introduction

Well, you were JUST making a diet drink and then you accidentally made an invincible firehorse; you have to remember that.

Alien Engineering

Cutting room floor: stories that never got finished because they're weird and experimental and don't connect to anything.

Cum.
When the call first came, the world assumed it was a language issue. An alien probe had been spotted at the edge of the solar system, headed towards the planet from no origin that made sense. Every country prepared to receive it, every scientist was frayed from the anticipation. It approached for only a  week, a hectic, panic filled week, and when ...

Previous Shark Story

Before there was orb harbor, there was this story. Basically an origin for the giant shark monster character Jack; this story went through several rewrites before being scrapped entirely. It just wasn't possible to write a story involving a character gaining intelligence as it progresses to my satisfaction... AND have it be readable and entertaining. Or at least, it wasn't worth it. I might revisit it someday, but until then, here's 2000 extra words.

Singularity Scrap

Two PM and the break room was in pristine condition. A new record. Chaz and Amy were both having their late lunch at the same time, both with the distinct impression that something disastrous was about to happen. It was more pattern recognition than anything else, if Frank hadn't ruined the break room by ten-thirty, it meant he was working on something big. And Frank working on something big had officially never gone well. The horse and husky were about to get up and leave, just in c...
