AEW faced some major creative changes heading into AEW All Out due to injuries.

AJ Lee is back and she's immediately the most compelling character on the show. That's both a very good thing and a very bad thing.

An AEW star sustained an unfortunate injury at one of the worst possible times.
Fightful Select has learned that Wardlow has sustained an injury almost immediately after returning from a year-plus absence. Sources in AEW that we spoke to said that the injury is feared to be a torn pectoral muscle, which would sideline him for quite some time. Over the last year or so, there had been a variety of changes to AEW production, as there will be with any company. Pyro adjustments, lighting from week to week, and the like.
