Another veteran AEW name has been working as a coach within the company.
Fightful Select has learned that “The Premier Athlete” Tony Nese has been serving as a coach/agent within All Elite Wrestling. Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp has confirmed that “Daddy Magic” Matt Menard signed a new contract to remain in AEW long-term. We’ve learned that originally, Menard’s contract was set to expire around AEW All In, but he extended.

Ashante Thee Adonis is gone from WWE, with his contract expiring on August 10.

An AEW original has been working for the company as a coach/producer of late.
Angelico joined All Elite Wrestling in 2019 as a member of TH2 with Jack Evans. Since then, he's not been a heavily featured player in the company, but has remained there. Fightful Select has learned that he actually has been working as a coach and producer virtually all year. Karrion Kross and Scarlett's contracts are up. The situation appears to be legitimate, unless WWE has taken measures they've not before with departures.

AEW is holding on to one of their champions, and he’s staying around for a long time.

Wardlow was backstage at AEW this week, which isn't much of a surprise.
Wardlow is from the Cleveland area, which he worked heavily before he was hired by AEW. As of now, he's not been on TV for well over a year after an injury and a car accident kept him sidelined. We did confirm that he's been cleared since earlier this year, and was able to return. However, he met with Tony Khan in the early part of the year, and Khan was fine with him working the upcoming American Gladiators series....

AEW has nailed down new contracts for a couple of talent.
On August 6, The Gates of Agony Duo of Kaun and Toa Liona posted tweets with AEW Owner Tony Khan. Fightful Select was able to confirm that the duo have both signed long term, multi-year contracts to remain as a part of All Elite Wrestling.

We've gained some clarity on Austin Theory.
On August 6, a number of places aggregated a PWInsider Elite story indicating that Austin Theory was removed from the WWE roster internally. Fightful reached out to people in the company and some clarification was provided. Theory isn't off the roster completely, instead he's listed with the other injured talent like Zoey Stark and Ilja Dragunov.

Brock Lesnar’s return to the company has many asking what changed.
WWE’s legal department signed off on Lesnar’s return in recent weeks. The phrasing that “WWE’s legal team cleared” him being used elsewhere has led to many fans believing that he was cleared of any wrongdoing in connection to the lawsuit of which he’s named, but not a defendant.
