Alex & Kate's SOUR GRAPS: Raw 8/4 | Legally Blind

It's the Raw after SummerSlam, and WWE is unapologetically themselves.

Seth is still the same guy, the promos still suck, and now there's a THIRD El Grande Americano. Oh yeah, and apparently WWE's lawyers decided it was legally time for Brock to "come home".

Everything sucks. Let's talk about it.

Big Karrion Kross and Scarlett update

We have an update on Karrion Kross and Scarlett.

Fightful Select has learned from sources backstage at WWE Raw that Karrion Kross and Scarlett are not at WWE Raw and aren't planned for the show. Beyond that, we've learned an update on their contract status.

Fightful Select is told by a WWE higher up that Kross and Scarlett's deals are up this weekend, and that a new WWE deal hasn't been offered to either of them. However, to our knowledge, they weren't informed that their contra...

Something pretty cool that Jelly Roll could end up doing

Randy Orton hears voices in his head, and he could end up hearing more on this theme song.

Randy Orton teamed with Jelly Roll on night 1 of WWE Summerslam, and was joined by the music star for weeks during the build of the match. Throughout the promotion for the event, Jelly Roll sang Randy Orton's iconic "Voices" theme multiple times before Orton came out to the ring.

We could end up hearing it more regularly, too.

We're told by WWE sources that Jelly Roll approached Randy ...

More on WWE Unreal/Summerslam, Talent Reactions

WWE Unreal looks like it is moving forward, at least on the surface.

WWE Unreal isn't officially renewed for a season 2, but it certainly seems like WWE and Netflix are continuing to work on it.

Fightful Select noted that WWE Unreal director Chris Weaver was backstage in Gorilla Position during Seth Rollins' cash in and was filming content. Those we spoke to say they expect that the entire angle will be covered for the next batch of episodes, whenever that may be. Weaver spoke wi...

More on Brock Lesnar's return

Brock Lesnar is back in WWE in a shocking move.

Lesnar returned at WWE Summerslam after not being on WWE TV in over 18 months after being named in the lawsuit against WWE and Vince McMahon alleging sex trafficking, among other things. While Lesnar is not a defendant, and isn't accused of the harsher actions, he's been off WWE TV since early 2024.

When the lawsuit was filed in January 2024, WWE pulled him from the Royal Rumble and his planned WrestleMania feud with Gunther. A WWE...

Backstage News on Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena, Summerslam

Tonight's Summerslam Main Event is being kept very quiet internally.

While the match is unsurprisingly Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena, Cena's abrupt face turn caused many in the company and in wrestling fandom a surprise. It was the first time The Rock and Travis Scott's seemingly unplanned absences over the last number of months were addressed, even vaguely. Travis Scott had been planned to do more with the company earlier this year, but that didn't end up happening. We can't speak to the f...

Details Behind Seth Rollins Cash In

Seth Rollins' swerve was complete, and he's world champion.

Seth Rollins vs. LA Knight was ended abruptly due to what looked like an injury a few weeks ago, in a match that everyone in the know backstage were told that Rollins was slated to win. Upon returning backstage, everyone including many medics and producers were treating the situation as real.

It was kept so close to the vest that even some close to him were concerned when they hadn't immediately heard back from him. The...

The fate of the titles that the holds in ROH are unknown.
