Wonder Woman Wrecked WIPs

Mark's Cast

A very simplified concept-sheet for Mark and his most immediate cast of supporting characters. I'm not dumping any lore on anyone, just giving the briefest of bios for each character, focusing more on their personality than their history.

Catra Coming At'cha!

Surprisingly good show! It is a very mixed-bag though. At times it reminds me not only of what I loved about Avatar, but it also fantasy in general. The world-building isn't too much of a burden (good Princess alliance versus evil alien empire), but the story is really told through the character-arcs. Catra gets a good one, and so does Entrapta. These two characters are the best part of the show, even if my favorite princess is Mermista, my Sarcastic Queen.

I liked how the Dwarves in Dragon Age are hardcore assholes. I kinda like the idea of them being really grim, greedy, gruesome materialistic atheists. Mark is Chaotic-Neutral, primarily, but I like the idea that he slips into Lawful-Evil when his heritage is in question. (Mark's not intended to be a 'good guy').

Happy Birthday America (Chavez)

America Chavez's birthday is July 4th. I tried to have this done yesterday, but then I day-slept and went up a mountain to watch the fireworks. They were actually better this year, despite everything, since everyone was setting them off from their yards, instead of from the same spot off a pier. It was all spread out with less smoke. 

Hope everyone is good, or safe, or standing for your principles, or whatever the fucking priority is, I don't know. 

Mark and his (Dysfunctional) Friends

There are a few ideas that I really want to get off my chest, and I process them best when drawing. I was working them into my Dragonborn and the Dark Brotherhood comic, but I just scripted out a whole page of Aela and Lydia arguing about Nord history, Ysgrammor, and the genocide of the Falmer, and it didn't vibe, so I took it all out and got back to them being sexy mean-girls.

Saints Savage Sundays

Saints Row has exactly my kind of humor. I just don't find the game-play engaging enough. I'm happy with the colors. I'm going hard on over-saturation again. For whatever reason, I can not draw a human head without it developing a weird wonky slant to one side or the other. I think it's because I've spent too much time looking at cartoons, and now the beauty of the natural human form will be forever elusive to me.

Or I just need more practice. 

Either way, instead of trying to fix it, I just power into the coloring, and hope I can fix it with some warping at the end. Thanks Photoshop!

Alright! This is the very first time I got an entirely grey-scale render into a colored version that I like! Everything is still wonk, but I think I got the faces to be sexy (Amari's more than Nora's). Serviceable though! I need to do a full sex-scene in this style to see if it still works though. This stuff works with the SFW stuff I draw for myself, but my personal doodles are all goblins and gnomes and stuff with big noses and fluffy beards, so translating what I learn in my SFW time back ...

Curie coming to life

I've been using a crisp hard-line style, which is slow, but if I pot all the work into it, I get a very clean style. This is the messiest of styles. Just 'rendering' by moving black and white around, smoothing out objects and details as I 'discover' them.
