Shipment 24/7

Shoothouse easily ranks among one of my most hated maps in a video-game.

Every single version of it in-fact, and I'm not talking about the facelift it received in Modern Warfare II '22 (really, it couldn't have been any other year?), but all the versions of this level that I've also played in every single free to play Korean FPS made in the early 2000s.

I've played Shoothou...

What was the first game that had a story that was genuinely captivating to you?

I enjoyed game stories prior to this, but I always say 2012 was the year I really realized the potential of them, after playing the trio of Walking Dead, Far Cry 3, and Spec Ops The Line almost back to back.

Far Cry 3 showed how to connect external mechanics with the themes of a story, Spec Ops intentionally separated the character and protagonist, ...

Recommendations: What Normal Was by Billy Howerdel

Sometimes you wonder why you love an album so goddamn much before one day stumbling onto Wikipedia and go... Oh, well, duh!

Billy Howerdel's most known for being A Perfect Circle's guitarist, but in truth, he's been a driving force of it since the beginning having conceptulized it. He's also worked with Smashing Pumpkins, Nine Inch Nails, David Bowie, and those colleagues definitely left an impact on Billy judging by this album.

This isn't a rock album, it's moody, atmopsheric, an...

Bioware's Perspective

January 2021, you might've remembered a headline spreading around from various gaming sites about Mass Effect 2's tattooed psychotic biotic, Subject Zero, AKA, Jack; that she was originally Pansexual but made straight in response to the Fox News controversy that Mass Effect 1 stirred up.

Due to the climate of gaming at the time, Bioware's open team were worried into removing that aspect of Jack...

When it comes to the hardware necessary to play games (ie console, PC), do you think of them as just what they are, or would you either buy or refuse to buy a product even if it means you can’t play a game you wanna play? I think I heard you wanna play Breath of the Wild but don’t wanna buy a Switch (which I get).

Little column A, column B.

On the one hand, it is what it is. We don't live in a world where everybody can access a piec...

Do you like video games?

Yeah, you should try Flatout Ulitmate Carnage.

What started out as a ode to Norther European Folk Racing, became one of the most carthatic gaming experiences out there, with its combination of vehicle destruction, environmental destruction, and rag doll physics. It features everything from races, to destruction derbys, and even stunt games, using your rag dolling character as a strategic bullet.

My only recommendations is to at least start out with t...

Why Do Turn Based Games Have MORE Combat?

Here's how much I loved Arcane.

I bought a Turn Based RPG taking place in League's universe…

God damn.

What about Ruined King though?

Well, I was actually rather enthralled at first. Despite my hatred for Turn Based Combat, its simple system was rather compelling.

Basically, y...

Recommendations: The Count of Monte Cristo

Sometimes, you just need a good revenge tale, and this one that's only a couple hundred years old, holds up rather well, at least in this 2002 adaptation.

While I can't lie, I'd really like to see an extended version of this story told over the course of a mini-series rather than the usual two hour runtime, I never the less completely supported the protagonist and was feeling their rage and thirst for vengance.

Doing go in expecting a masterpiece, just a well put together romp. View Post

Ubisoft Isn't Bad...

How could someone possibly make this claim?

Ubisoft so obviously sucks!

From the obscene monetization of every single one of their games to the never ending bugs, and cookie cutter content that's been copy pasted, also, into every single one of their games.

I don't deny that for one moment.

I've made videos about it…

I did, I've barely touched any recently. If I were to be a smart ass, I'd say my favorite rhythm game is Ghostrunner, but in truth, it's probably DJ Hero.

Post-Mortem: The Far Cry Campaign You CAN'T Play Anymore

I've bought an extra 16gbs of RAM, 4TB M.2 SSD, and intended on letting my computer transcode footage into multi-gigabyte uncompressed titan files.

Why?

Because I really like this video, and making it should've been more fun than it was.

The final product was ultimately worth it for me.

I really am turning a new leaf when it comes to music. Just like Royal Blood's Typhoons, this is an album I couldn't get into just a couple months ago, yet the other week, it clicked with me well enough to headbang from start to finish.

Stray From The Path makes its screaming chorus' catchy, an art that Nu-Metal ultimately had without carrying the tradtional 2000s Nu-Metal sound, but inspirations from Metalcore and Punk.

That's a really damn good question. I'm having to pause for a long time. Honestly? None of the things I've won, Golf Tournaments, Shambles Races, or Game Events, really compares to when I got a big break on YT.

When Career Mode is The Worst

On Xbox 360, Battlefield 3 had its Multiplayer on Disc ONE, whereas Campaign was on Disk Two.

Though it's just a number, and shouldn't matter, everyone knows exactly why the order wasn't flipped. That multiplayer component is why people bought Battlefield 3. It's the game's primary selling point, and it's proud of it.

What are the lessons you think the next Forza Motorsport should take from Gran Turismo 7? Vice versa?

That people want progression, not a grind.

Now, Forza's had rather the opposite problem the last bunch of years in both Motorsport & Horizon, but consideing how much grinds are rearing their ugly head in almost every major game now, I really hope Forza isn't planning on taking notes from GT7's campaign.

Recommendations: Here's What You Could Have Won by Kid Kapichi

Sometimes, you get a recommendation from the algorithm that meets your taste so preceisely, it's kind of terrifying. At least that was the case with this Kid Kapichi album.

I was rather shocked to find them with so little attention on YT, thankfully they're doing better on Spotify but overall, they just deserve more.

Is there a storyline in Mass Effect you’d like to see explored further in game? Be it the First Contact War or something mentioned in passing during a mission?

It's main character is someone who find themselves in a school that's built around gambling, because they want to risk their livelyhood.

As much as I adore the cast of characters, and would happily spend $60 on a game about playing poker with Panam, Jackie, Judy, Rogue, Misty, Viktor, and all the others, the great thing about Cyberpunk so far is that it's not attaching itself to a singular character, or family tree.
