I'd been meaning to watch Nimona for months, ever since I stumbled upon its thumbnail on Netflix, and its recent nominations for best Animated film were the latest reminder...
And now wish I hadn't waited, because this was one of the most flat out fun movies I've watched in sometime, while having enough heart to be genuinely moving, to the point where both the friend I watched with and myself were being reminded of The Iron Giant.

Hey everybody!
It's been a little quiet from me recently, but I want to assure that's because it's been loud and chaotic behind the scenes (in a good way.)
Firstly, my Ubisoft video script is done, at the very least, done enough to start recording. I do think I'm kicking a bit of a hornets nest with it, which while that's one of my goals in this stage of my """"career"""", I'm not setting out to be inflammatory. This album is weird...
While I enjoyed it on the first listen, it wasn't what I was looking for, IE, 2000's bangers like the title track Venom. Wargasm (UK)'s mostly known for their Prodigy-esk take on NuMetal (helped by Prodigy drummer Kieron Pepper being a producer), but this album is instead very experimental.

Popular gaming isn't really gaming in the sense of creating an unique experience. I feel that it follows in the footsteps of, and without a better example, social media -- instant or immediate gratification.
Aside from your regular culprits of Formula One, Call of Duty, Far Cry, something similar to the first time you played the Blood and Wine DLC emotion kind of thing, could be a turning point, don't you think?

I tweeted about not fully clicking with TOOL, yet getting into several groups they clearly inspired.

The long songs with their long build ups and long riffs mean that it's still not an album I instinctively go to, but the times I do, I find myself slipping into another world. There's undeniably a nostalgic attachment I've got with this game, having binged it alongside Tony Hawk's Underground on my PS2 as a kid, but playing SSX 3 today, it stunned me just how damn good the game still is.

I watched a director's debut on Netflix that was so bad... I had to cleanse my pallet.
I needed a proper crime mystery, and Gone Baby Gone, well, it'd been 10+ years since I'd last seen this movie, and what I rediscovered was a film that's even better than I remember.
