So! It's the beginning of April, and it's been almost two months since I last gave an update on the fox animation. This one has been a real doozy so far, and has definitely been far more difficult than I anticipated.

Exclusive angle for the Slime Pit animation. Ended up not using the stereoscopy feature to render both angles at the same time for this one, since there was some stuff I needed to fix in this angle beforehand.

Exclusive angle for Diamond Tier! I was able to get this one out quickly instead of a few days later like I ordinarily would. The reason for that is because I found out about Blender's "stereoscopy" feature, which allowed me to render from multiple cameras at the same time. It's definitely a really useful feature, and something which I'll likely continue to utilise from now on. :)

Short animation of my previous Cave Encounter still! I got a little carried away with this one originally, which is why it took longer than I expected to get it finished. Eventually I had to remind myself that the whole point of these shorter loops was to have them be short and simple, lol. So I dialed it back and ended up with this, which I think turned out for the better.

Exclusive angle for Diamond Tier :D Little bit more of a focus on the face this time. Oh! And in the last few posts I've been putting subsurface scattering on the tentacles. I always had that turned off, because it adds to render times and makes the image noisier -- but I think it's kind of worth it.

My first one-off render! Because this is a still image, I was able to do things like volumetric scattering, 4K resolution, and full global illumination. All of that stuff bumped the render time up to ten minutes, so I wouldn't be able to get away with something like this for an animation -- but I love the way it looks, lol.

Hello hello! Finally got this animation fully rendered, lol.
I really gave myself a challenge with this one. What started out as a simple tentacle loop turned into a longer loop, which then became several different animation stages until eventually it became what you see here. I'd get it to a point, then stop and think okay, this is the last stage. And then I just added more and more.
