Hello Everyone!

Finally I was able to finish a video for this month! 🎥🍿 I had a lot of technical problems along the way but I think I already know how to avoid most of them in the future 😸

The movie is quite unique because it is the first time I have been able to record the entire process of a portrait drawing. Also I talk a lot about my thinking process💡 The whole piece took about 1: 20 h but I shortened the film through time lapse in some parts.

DOWNLOADABLE COLOR PALETTE - Pastel backgrounds 🍭

Most of my drawings are made with pencil but sometimes I want to brighten up my feed a little bit...

1. I added these pastel backgrounds to the photos of my sketches on separate layer in Procreate 🙌 I mix few shades for a nice gradient effect.

2. I used "Nikko rull" brush and blended it in some areas 🖌

3. Then I lowered the opacity to about 80% for more natural look 🌟

SECRET SKETCH: Self-portrait ✨

The author of the e-book told us (me and my dad, who did the graphic design with typesetting) that it would be great if we had an "about us" page. For that, I had to make a quick self-portrait sketch! 😅

I hate seeing myself in photos and I have to fight myself to draw self-portraits. This is the second one I have ever done. The first one was technically correct but it looked strange for me - like a selfie with filters. I wanted something more professional that would show the real me....
