Ok. Um, ok. Here we go. DC hasn’t quite cracked the Marvel formula for making fun movies. It begs the question, can the most charismatic man on the planet pull off DC’s latest deep cut? Black Adam owes some copyright fines to all those superheroes that you actually like. It’s not great, but it bolsters the Rock’s standing in the Bald Move Badass Hall of Fame…so there’s that!

The power has been restored to this show. Great sacrifices are made, destinies intertwined, and identities revealed. This is the sizzle before the scorching fire. Is Viserys your favorite character now, too? Alicent is more dangerous than before. Rhaenyra and Daemon are already quite the pair. Having twins in the Kingsguard was clearly a play by Viserys to have his own campy 90s movie setup. And could someone write a concise guide to the names of these characters? Jim has had enough.
