I'm now far enough along with designing this update that I can share a bit more about this chapter's gameplay premise! Without giving too much away, Mila will be put in a precarious situation in which her whip is taken away, leaving her to rely on only her skills and any items she has taken with her up until that point. I began scripting scenes this week! I have nearly all the character illustrations for this update done, I think. I created most of the character sketches while working on the last update, so it saved me a bit of time. I believe I only have one more that I need to color and the rest of my drawing time is going to scene illustrations. Anyway, I've scripted some of the earlier scenes now. While thinking up rewards for quests, I came up with a way to reward a quest that previously had no tangible in-game reward. I'm talking about the Bianca's Diary quest from a few updates ago. While it was fine for the sake of playing, I'm sure there were players who went through it disappointed that there was nothing to gain from it aside from Picture Gallery completion. This has now been rectified, with another short quest!

The latest contract quest is fully scripted and tested! It is ready to go! This is the real meat of the upcoming version update, so I'm glad that I can scratch it off my to-do list!

Quick update on the Developer's Room: There are now even more options to play around with. You can now choose to skip immediately to the beginning of the vampire route as soon as you have access to the Dev Room. You can also choose to play as a standard vampire. This essentially acts as if you are in Viviene's Bad Ending Sequence, so you can play that new content right off the bat.
