Author's note: Just realized the last chapter said 87, when it's actually chapter 86. Fixed.
“Ten more minutes.”
“I thought you had fifteen.”
“Fuck off, David3.”
“I’ll be the bad guy, and point out-” David2 said before disappearing with a pop.
“Focus, Guys!” Walker was forced to yell out. Who knew five Walkers would have such a hard time staying focused? “Think. Why do you all have the same Temporal distortion as mysel...

As he calmed down from the sudden arrival of the Bounty system, he took a second look at how the system had phrased where it came from. Just the word Pre-Origin had huge ramifications, as it ran against everything he’d heard thus far.
According to the multiverse, everything had begun....in the beginning. Even the name Origin meant that this is where the Multiverse's historic timeline began. For there to be a time before the beginning implied that there was much more than meets t...

Well folks, we have lost of ton of Patrons this month.
I'm not necessarily complaining, as I use Patreon less for the money, and more for the feedback and for those who really want to know what's going to happen next. As I've stated in the past, I won't really have a big focus on Patreon until Grey comes a rolling in.
This last month I dropped from 28 Patron's to 23, while this month, I dropped from 23 to 18.
Is this going to change my writing? Nah. I sa...

The Creator looked over his recent gains. It would be easy to say that everything he had just received impressed him, but it wouldn’t be true. Most Creators likely only received a tenth of the rewards Walker did, but they didn’t share the same goals as him.
He didn’t just want a world that succeeded the protocol. He didn’t want to become the almighty, all-knowing, all-seeing, godlike being that many throughout the protocol’s history did. There was no truth to that, no jo...

In the Alpha Protocol Council Chambers:
Consular LAD95, currently in the shape of a tentacled Korlorthian, sat in a standard rolling chair at the end of the council chambers. It was spending a few moments going through the localized assistant database as they'd recently received a packet from LAD47. Each packet was fascinating to him and many of the assistants around him. In the past, they used to hold updates on Creator Dante and the wonders his world brou...

Heyo,
Here's some images of the different strands I've conceptually built so far. Obviously it's a big work in progress and needs a lot of work on the text. I'll add to it as I go.

It took Walker a couple of hours to figure out Sonata's direction from the deep dark reaches of space. Searching his own memories seemed to give him a small sense of vertigo, as he'd plummeted so fast out of his private solar system that it was hard to figure out up from down. He continued to make wrong turns until he finally realized that the location of his planets was likely the only one with a sun. With that knowledge in mind, he spotted the brightest star in the distance and pushed himse...

Walker gathered the dimensional strand in the palm of his right hand and took a deep look at it.
Space was blue, and consciousness brown. Life came with a green color, while time was colorless, fitting the aspect of being a non-static phenomenon that danced its way across the fabric of existence. But Dimensional was different. It consistently shifted every few seconds from one color to the next, as if it were telling those who held it that they had no real control over the strand. Anoth...

Authors note: For those of you in the know, I have learned why I've been ill so much lately. I was in the hospital recently for an advanced bacterial infections. Currently, I can't hear anything at all (kind of), feel terrible, and weird stuff is happening to my body. Still, that won't slow down the story of Symphony, although it will shorten up the chapter. I promised no more skips and I'm trying to stick to it, as best as I can....though I could do without the constant low-scale tinnitus. T...

Another, nother, busy busy work week. Pretty soon though, everything will calm down and I'll have more time to write. Should be two chapters like normal this weekend, but next weekend I may have ANOTHER tournament.
This time of year is always my heaviest. I've got Esports events, grade turn-ins, and the wife starts gearing up for outings. This is my first time fully writing a series through an entire year, so I'm shifting and moving with the punches.
The purpose of...

Skills.....
Still within the Temporal distortion, Walker considered the idea he'd had long ago.
Monsters, as in those monsters of which Symphony would become known throughout the multiverse, grew in power as they gained higher tiers. Each tier brought different new strengths and abilities that the entity could develop. The greater the tier, the higher the plane of magic they could touch upon, and the larger the breadth of their abilities.
To counter this, he had long ago dec...

I really felt like Chapter 79 needed to be edited and updated. As I couldn't release a chapter today, I figured I would give you what should have been published last Sunday. Enjoy, as it is much more thorough and "Symphony"ish.
Walker laid down on the mattress. It certainly wasn't the cloud mattress Zeus had once intimated that he knew how to make, but it would do. Taking a moment to rest, he considered everything he still needed to do. If his guess was right, he had twenty-four ...

Howdy Folks!
How is everyone doing? Hope you're well.
Man, there are a TON of bugs going around in my area. I was sick just a week ago, and I think I'm getting sick again. The woes and trials of being a high school teacher are rough. I currently have ANOTHER weird bug that makes my chest feel like its on fire. Still writing, but it feels rough.
Speaking of which, I'll be coaching and managing a thousand-member plus tournament this upcoming weekend. That means no chap...

Authors note: This chapter has been thoroughly edited and essentially replaced. Please look for Chapter 79 a second time up above for much much better writing. It was a failure on my part to edit it properly, and I apologize.
Walker laid down on the mattress. Taking a moment to rest, he considered everything he still needed to do. If his guess was right, he had twenty-four hours until the Founders were meant to seed onto Crescendo. Of course, there'd be a bi...

Authors note: Sorry for the delay. Wanted to make sure I did this right.
Walker looked out across the previously barren landscape of Fortis. Crystalline bodies littered the giant, soon-to-be icy world, each in their own delicate pose after the conclusion of their final movements. He had a moment of surrealistic rejection as his eyes tracked just how many had died in attacking him. They had just kept coming; dozens, hundreds of them. The last batch had only been the last because ...

Authors note: Super fun chapter. Enjoy!
P.s. we're now 2 months ahead in chapters.
Virgil had come immediately after hearing from a Founder that Symphony's Creator had punched the god of crafting. Carrying Walker to his bed in the cabin, he continued to speak while Walker's head bobbed to the motion of his large steps.
"...Cresendo is complete. You never placed a return portal in the center, but that can be done when you have time. The second planet, Melody, req...

Walker looked at Neus, then waved it off, "Please produce three quivers for me."
He quickly scooped them off the table and the tier six one off the floor then gave a fast goodbye before exiting the Territory system.
Heph was quietly speaking to Caddy when he came out, "I know, but do dey appreciate what we do? No, of course-...Creator!"
Walker gave him a smile and a wave, "Sorry about that. I just had to test a few things. So, let's look at these clothes you've made."

Sorry for the delay, just wanted to make sure it was edited well. Let me know if you find any issues. We'll have another chapter in the early morning, with hopefully another in the evening tomorrow. Thanks for sticking with me!
Even though Sonata had plenty of air, Walker held his breath when he got back.
That update would surely have consequences, and he just had to hope nobody would know what was coming because it was only going to be the first of many. Every system that ...

Current chapter is at about 3.5k, likely ending between 6-7k. I'm probably going to split it, but I'll release two chapters tomorrow regardless.
I submitted my series to Podium for consideration. I don't know if it'll go through, but I'm hoping it will. I've always written this series to be translated best to an audiobook. It has to do with my training and education as a broadcaster way back when.
I also wanted to give a heads up that my last tournament of the year...

Howdy folks,
Still unnaturally tired but making progress on the chapter. Sorry I wasn't able to get it out, but whatever this is has a hold on me.
I'm planning on this upcoming chapter (Saturday), being a double. Makes up a little for the missed time/posting, and it's somewhat required.
When the book finishes, Creation has come to an end, and I'll be focusing on the novella The Boy and the Stick. Should finish just before summer, or potentially, right...

Pretty tired everyone. I'm not sure what's going on, but I'm taking a breather. Could be getting sick, as most of my family has a form of the norovirus right now.
The chapter is mostly fleshed out, I just need to put it down for good. Hoping to have it out tomorrow. In my defense I did write up 4 and almost 5 chapters in a week. Sum total of words for this week was somewhere around 20k in total.
Current chapter is focused on the Event system. Should clock in...

Walker began exiting from the metaphysical plane, standing tall with his Morningstar leaning on a shoulder.
Only, he had forgotten that when he'd first entered the system training program days ago, he'd been in bed. Suffering a powerful moment of cognitive dissonance as he readjusted to being back on the normal plane of reality, he had to shake his head to get rid of the strange dysphoria. Of course, a massive black squirrel with his back to him somewhat took the idea of normalcy away f...

Walker was sitting in the chair in front of his soul-construct. Mentally, he'd taken to calling it Mac just to make things easy. Nearby, roars and screams could be heard as his little friend continued to work on the defenders. He sighed and leaned back in the chair, wondering how much time had passed in the outside world.
Thus far, he'd been trapped in here for two days if his guess was right. The cougar had come first, then a pair of lions, then bears, then more things from Earth, only...

Walker's laughter was short-lived. When he took the time to pay attention to the screen in front of him, he found he only had about thirty minutes of time left before the entirety of the Evolver's multiverse found out he was the new System Administrator, and sent everything they had to tear him and his dreams apart.
"Fuck!" He yelled out to no one in particular.
He refocused on the screen's writing.

1. Modify the code of a sys...

Walker wasn't shocked to learn that Kwaya was there during the war. She'd intimated enough times that she'd been in the Origin at the start of everything that it just seemed to fit what he'd seen thus far. Plus, she was listed as Alma's second disciple. He wasn't sure what direction her life was currently heading, but he was looking forward to seeing what the Awakened could do at the start of things.
The view of her life sped up. Apparently, she'd made the wrong choice with the man by t...

Just finished writing this up. Should be about 5k, and it also wraps up the biggest part of Kwaya's arc. You'll like the ending. Likely about 20 minutes late for me. I had a crazy time at work and couldn't write all week, which normally supplements what I do on Saturdays.

This weekend, on Sunday, my wife booked us a stay at a "Glamping" ground. That's going to make it quite hard to write and post on time. I have the full expectation of publishing a chapter Saturday, however Sunday may not occur. But, don't worry!
Because I won't likely be publishing a chapter on Sunday, I plan to release two between the monday-friday that follows, with another two on the weekend after. So, you'll get an extra chapter out of me next week, with the only issue be...
