Chapter 37: Zones and the Limited Series

Walker was still looking at the second Temporal task on his screen. There was an itch in his mind, and he knew he probably didn't have time for it yet, no pun intended. But still, it was there.

Temporal task: Create a static temporal zone: Part 2

You've built a localized temporal anomaly and grasped just the beginning of what the temporal subsystem can do. Now, create a temporal zone that constantly slows down time, or speeds it up, without heavily drainin...

Symphony: Chipper and Raganoth

Early release. Meaning, no chapter on Saturday. Figured it'd be nice for everyone.

Chipper:

Chipper, the Albino Squirrel of Symphony and Guardian of the center, couldn’t speak. He didn’t have the standard vocal folds and full-throatedness that human beings and their fellow sapients possessed. That's because Chipper's design was based on a standard squirrel, and he was given life without thought to what would happen should sapience occur.

On Earth: Elsie and a Boy

Elsie:

Elsie cleaned the last of the blood off of the floor of Buckingham Palace. Nobody said for his work to continue, he needed the area clean of any contaminants. Elsie knew that was a lie, because her parents had taught her about DNA and what dust was made of when she was just a little girl, but she still did it to make him happy. She thought he just didn't like the sight of blood. To some, her being a little girl was only a few weeks ago, while to her, it was more ...

Chapter 36: Temporal Errors and the Physical Stage

Warning: I didn't want you to have to wait all day for a chapter, so this is a rough rough draft. Normally I go through it at least once, often twice, before I post it. But, I couldn't sleep last night and wrote instead. Wanted to make sure you guys have something to read today in case I knock out. Enjoy, it was fun to write:

Walker leaned back in the computer chair and put the journal down. There was more that he could add, he knew that.

More that he s...

In the Fourth Rendition: The Slicer

So, sorry for the super confusion. I was writing Alma, got about 4k into it, and realized I wasn't sure how it would end. The big trick for writing my books is knowing the ending before I start writing the beginning. I didn't want to write a sub-par book, so I swapped my writathon over to Creation. That means my chapters are going to publish FAST, and often. I'm doing three this weekend (planned, may have one on monday), and a ton of chapters thanksgiving week. It also means RR chapters will ...

What is Alma?

Alma is a story that shows the first awakened and how they came to be. It's set in the first rendition on a planet that has already experienced the alpha protocol. The prologue will go through a bit of a change, but otherwise the story is at a pretty solid start plot-wise. I already figured out a bunch of stuff last night, to include how the soul will awaken, the family dynamic...

RR Writathon

Hello,

I've always wanted to do the Writathon. Would you guys be pissed if I did it? What about if I kept it within Symphony's scope? Options for the book below:

Scripture #4 changes and today and tomorrow

Howdy everyone,

If you celebrate Halloween, enjoy! I will be a member of Ravenclaw with an official sorting hat, wand, exact immitation harry potter robes, and a ravenclaw scarf. It looks sick.

I'm going to attempt to triple chapter this week, but you won't get a bonus chapter for a little while. I'm trying to get ahead of my chapter postings, so that when I do bonus chapters in the future, they don't come at the cost of my sanity as I...

Holy Scripture #4 (The Last)

.....so please do not attempt to "bleed" people to make them feel better. Perhaps there will be unique afflictions that affect others in time, but the idea of "bleeding" people to make them feel better has been disproven multiple times in my world. You also cannot help people by putting generic environmental cleaning solutions into their blood systems. Cleaning solutions like that are meant for clothing and otherwise, not people. That is all I have to say on hygiene and health, moving on!

Under the Dome: Cagna and Rimi

Okay, for once, I'm releasing this early, even against my new schedule. Mostly for my EU peeps, and because I'm a super cool guy.

Cagna:

Cagna dry-washed her pink paws as she looked at Walker, unknowingly rubbing each palm against the other. He was an imposing man, not to mention Creator, and regardless of the hug he and Rimi gave her earlier in the day, she couldn't help but feel a little nervous around him. In watching him sit at his creation in...

November Newsletter!

Releasing early so I have a little extra time this weekend. I'll get the poll up once the first week of November officially starts. It looks like I'm not getting to the Faction system right away. Damn.

Bonus early chapter: Under the Dome: Virgil and Dionysus

Virgil:

One of their processors told them that Walker was sitting and writing in his Holy Scripture right now. The primary reflected on that and decided it was a positive interaction. He needed the downtime again after his emotional instability, and the fertility modification would greatly help their expansion plans.

The localized assistant database updated its current status to the assistant protocol.

The primary scanned the two infants within th...

Holy Scripture 3

...and that is how deductive logic works. It is about taking larger theories and placing them on smaller situations or scenarios. For instance, if all men are mortals, and Joe is a man, then Joe must be mortal. Simple and yet profound at the same time.

The last sixty pages have taught you quite a bit. From basic math(s), to algebra and geometry. From the greatest of punctuation marks, the all-powerful comma, to how paper is created and books are bound. From governments and philosophy, a...

Chapter a little late....Two then!

Chapter will release tonight, but it'll be late. Because of its lateness, and because it was already planned, I'll be releasing Holy Scripture 3 right after. There's a lot packed into this one and it's taking me time to work around it, plus process the effects of the last chapter. Don't worry, I should have a nice release tonight, and a series of shorter chapters for next weekend.

Slight delay

So I normally have a chapter by now, but this was actually hard to write. It's mostly done and I don't want my brain to burnout, so I'll try to post it early in the morning. This is the finale to the second battle, and its about the size of a double chapter. Sorry for the delay, hopefully it's the last.

Weekend Update

I'll have the monthly newsletter and poll update this weekend. The newsletter is for everyone, the poll is for those who are Tier 2 Patrons.

If you can think of any benefits you feel you're supposed to get and don't, please let me know. I try to hit all of my promises each month with no skips.

Hoping I will hit 3 chapters this weekend. I write thu-sun as time allows, and the current chapter will likely be a double due to round size and ending.

Thanks!

Why?

Why not.

This is the bread and butter of indie authors like myself, and while right now it will not be super super filled with content, it will have content over time. If you have read my author notes in RR, you'll understand just how much I comment.

Thanks for reading!
