Tour Diary - Part 27

The End of The Road. Sorta. 

Where the hell am I? Let's see, open Maps, drop a pin, hang on... OK! Approaching Oklahoma City! 

Last show of the summer! We almost did it! The party won't be quite over tonight, as we have a 2 day drive back to LA, with a couple of stops in New Mexico and Arizona.  I'm glad for that. I don't like an abrupt end, where every disperses right after the show.  We need to unwind and process and decompress before hitting home.

We couldn't be more in Nebraska. Sitting at my desk looking out at FIELDS OF GREEEEEEN!!!  beautiful. 

Well, yesterday was a wild hoot.  I started the day with a really nice lunch with the Red Letter Media guys, Mike and Jay... great guys who do an actual movie review show on YouTube that's worth watching.  We tried to arrange for me to do a little shoot with them, but the timing wasn't gonna work out. Show Day!  Great sleep thanks to the bus being parked all night.

A great day off yesterday. We had lunch at the 3rd Street Market Hall, and then gathered a cooler,  some beach stuff and Ubered to Bradford Beach, just 10 minutes up the road on Lake Michigan. Cute little beach! The water was temperate enough to swim in and I had a nice dip. Vic showed up late with our baseball gloves and we had a toss. Here we are in Milwaukee! We're here a day early and are just gonna take it easy and rest up for our LAST THREE SHOWS!

Yesterday was a fun one! lots to report, from Indianapolis, but first, Robin's the bus driver's review of the show!

Heading into Indianapolis, the last show of a 7-day run of shows, and feeling good! throat's a little soar from a night where I pushed it a bit last night, but nothing to worry about.

DAY OFF! Ellie and I are a little bummed because we moved the bus from the venue, which was in this quiet, desolate little nook of Niagara Falls with great walking paths by the river, and old houses covered in overgrown wildflowers... The main street (literally Main Street) had a real "Roger & Me" vibe, blocks of shuttered businesses... seems like it's on the road to Ghost Town... Now the bus is a few miles north, in the more touristy part of town, closer to the Falls but with Papa John's...
