Decided to get some sculpting practice in while waiting for the poll to finish up. I'll probably leave it going until Friday, which is when I'll throw up a poll for which character to choose from. It's looking like Nier is going to win at the moment which was a bit of a surprise for me, but a welcome one none the less. I do enjoy those characters. Finally got this one done. I think I'm going to do another animation with some of the other characters but that will be decided a bit later. I also want to revisit the Honoka picture I did of her in the pool, and possibly do an animation with that so I may end up doing that first if it works out properly.

Not gonna name names for obvious reasons, but here's a pic that's also a little preview into what I'm working on. Had to re-render this thing like 5 times because I'm dumb. It's finally done now though and I'm really happy with how it's turned out. I've really been wanting to mess with multiple camera angles and I think this one turned out pretty well. I'm going to try to implement more complete scene builds in the future so that's easier to do. It does have sound so be wary of that.

I've wanted to mess with the DOA girls for a while, so I decided to make a scene with Honoka.  The rigs are awful, so I likely won't be doing anything more than just pictures with them. I've already got a couple of other angles that I really like of this scene in the works so those should be coming out in the upcoming days.

Melina Animation

Animating this was easier than I thought so I might try to do a bit more to it and try a facial.  I haven't done one yet so I think it would be something interesting to try.

Been messing around with some more stuff to try and get the models to look a bit nicer. I think it worked pretty nice for Melina here, so I'm going to try and do it on future projects should they actually work there as well. I might try animating this, or doing an animation with Melina, but the model I'm using isn't properly rigged so I don't know how well I could make it. I might just end up waiting and hoping someone rigs her properly. Hope you guys like it.

Used this to mess around with water a bit, and have learned that I no longer wish to mess around with water. It is very finicky and hard to get to look right.  I didn't get it anywhere close to perfect but I think it's good enough. Version with sound is attached to this post and has also been added to the archive.

As I said in the last post this was just a quick little thing to mess with the hair physics some more and to test out some dancing.  I don't think I can actually properly loop the physics the way they're handled now but I got it pretty close. Patreon Update

Just wanted to let everyone know that I am in the process of implementing the changes to my patreon.  I have new tiers in place as well as a new archive with a pinned post for that archive for easier access. I will be completely removing the old tiers, and the old archive posts so if you would like to move to one of the new tiers or cancel your patronage please do so. They will likely be gone by early/mid February so that people have some time to switch/leave should they choose to do so....

Mercy Dance WIP

This is just a quick little thing I'm messing with because I've wanted to try and animate dancing for a while so this is me just testing the waters a bit. It also gave me a reason to mess with the hair physics which I think I'm getting the hang of a bit more.  Once this gets fully release I will likely have updated my patreon tiers as well, so be on the look out for that.

MercyWIP

This is a test to try and get a better animated preview in Patreon. I made this into a gif since Patreon can't upload videos and their previews as well without going through a 3rd party, and most of the 3rd party stuff doesn't seem to work to well.  Ignore all of the lighting and wonky animation and such, I still have a bit of work to do on it, but it's coming along nicely I think.

Mercy WIP (Hopefully)

So I got my hand on the models made by KisX and have been messing with Mercy for a bit.  I absolutely love them and I'm attempting to get proper permission from KisX to use the models in my own stuff but they haven't responded to my messages asking about it yet, this is probably going to be on hold or a patron only thing until I get proper permission. We'll just have to see.

Sorry for the delay on this one.  Blender would not stop crashing so I eventually had to  just brute force the final render out so it's not quite as good as I would have liked. Fortunately I did learn quite a bit about what I can do with this new version of blender and some of the new things I can utilize my new GPU for, which was the main focus of this animation anyway.
