Khumalo Cup 1967 - Ford Mustang #176

Simultaneous release with RD.

South African racer Basil van Rooyen was a true talent behind the wheel of any car he was able to get down in Africa. His career started, like many, on motorcycles at age 18 in 1957. He soon moved on to racing cars around the few South African circuits.

His first successes were in a Ford Anglia 105E, at the then newly opened Kyalami circuit in 1961/62. He moved on to a Ford Cortina 1200 shortly after. His reputation as a talented driver got him a de...

Goodwood St. Mary's Trophy 1965 - Isuzu Bellett #112

April 19th 1965 saw the first ever Japanese car to enter the BSCC.

The small Isuzu Bellett had been a staple in Japanese and Australian motorsports since 1964, and it did not take long for Nippon Racing to expand their touring car programme to the UK for the very popular BSCC. Along with the newest 4 door Bellett, they brought Bruce McLaren to come race it at Goodwood.

Sadly, the Bellett would not start the actual race, after a piston ceased to function during practice. Not a ...

Japan Grand Prix 1967 (TS) - Mini Cooper S #33

Previously released in the Mini skinpack.

Capital Mini was one of the more prominent Austin importers in Japan, primarily focusing on the Mini. These cars saw huge popularity in Japan for those looking to buy a "performance" car from abroad without the usual price tag attached to these machines. Capital Mini at this time mainly focused on servicing Austin A40's, A110's and Mini 850's, acquiring a crucial amount of knowledge for what was about to come.

In 1964, a Mini Cooper ente...

Pukehoke Allcomers Race 1967 - Ford Anglia 105E #105

Prepare yourself for Sergio's Pukehoke circuit with a young man's championship winner!

Jim Richards may be New Zealands most famous touring car legend, having won the Bathurst 1000, Tasman series, Australian Superspeedway series and even dabbling into rally racing and bike racing. His career kicked off in the mid/late 60s with this tiny Ford Anglia 105E.

He took an overall victory at the Pukehoke junior races, the Allcomers Race, in 1967. From thereon out, his career progressed...

Proposal:

I've been thinking of uploading some more of my older content that has seen RD releases on here too, as a way to tell more stories behind the individual liveries that may have been "buried" in packs for example.

Older content will always be marked as such in the first line of the description, and sorted into their respective collections here on Patreon.

SCCA Nationals 1967 - Shelby Cobra Competition #7

Dick Smith was one of the more successful privateer Cobra racers in the SCCA with his Cobra CSX 3035. His excellent results culminated in an invitation to race in the ARRC Race of Champions at Daytona in 1967!

This livery is from an unknown SCCA Nationals race in 1967.

Nürburgring 1000km 1966 - Shelby GT350 #100

Personally, I wouldn't dare to be racing a Shelby GT350 around most circuits, let alone the Nürburgring, but alas it was a real thing!

To make the livery fit a little better, I had to move the GT class decals to the fenders instead of the roof. Other than that, it's pretty close!

The car was driven by Günther Selbach and Karl von Wendt, entered by Jochen Neerspasch Racing. Qualifying on a fair 37th place, they would end up being disqualified after breaking the classic outside ...

Nürburgring 500km 1968 - Abarth 1000 TC #106/107

Free release!

These two have been on my to-do list for a while, the iconic little Abarth 1000 TC (represented by Pessio Garage's Scorpion TC) as they were entered in the 1968 Nürburgring 500km.

Unlike the 1000km, the 500km was a race with limitations to engine capacity. A limit of 1600cc was imposed, thus preventing many of the bigger machines from entering and giving the little guys a chance at a fair race. Abarth entered two 1600 SP's, which took the overall win AND second p...

Carrera en Cuesta al Montseny 1969 - Alfa Romeo GTA #22

Early release for the paid members!
This is a rather unique looking GTA, chassis AR 613699, which was a rare Conrero tuned variant. Conrero can best be described as a rival tuning company to Autodelta, which tried to become Alfa Romeo's main racing development department - which didn't happen.

It's racing history started with the Jolly Club of Milan in 1966, returning to the circuit in 1969 and being taken over by Spanish driver Alberto Ruiz Giminez, who then raced it in his home c...

2L sportscar fans eat your heart out! I've finally completed the gorgeous Taki Racing Team Porsche 910 (chassis 012) which finished 2nd overall at the 1968 Japanese Grand Prix. It will be a part of the car once it's released, for free!

Nürburgring 1000km 1969 - Porsche 906 #71

Uploaded simultaneously on RD - free release!

This livery had been on the backburner for about a year, if not longer. The main thing holding it back was those mysterious yellow decals; it wasn't Cibie, even though the round decals kinda looked like it from a distance. Turns out, its a German brake pads manufacturer called TEXTAR - they still exist today!

Driven by Günther Werlich and owner Rainer Ising, the car managed to finish in 9th place at the end of the 1000km race.

Release: Warwick Farm 1968 - Porsche 912R #19

Another early release for my paid subscribers! This livery is one of my personal favorites as far as early 911's go; Alan Hamilton's legendary 911. This car caused quite the stir when it started racing in the ATCC following some rulechanges in 1969. You can read all about it here: Alan Hamilton's 1968 Porsche 911 T/R - Shannons Club

Note: the Fuchs rims do not...

Release: Vila Real 6 Hours 1969 - #35 Lotus 47GT

The first "premium" release for Patreon subscribers!

This is a livery which I may or may not have forgotten to submit into the finalized release build of the WSC Legends mod. So, here it is now in all it's glory. Driven by legendary Portugese driver Ernesto Neves to a 13th place finish, thanks to a late breakdown. They did qualify for the S1.6 class victory however!
