Hello everyone,
Today I am very pleased to announce we (Team WSC) have joined forces with Nugget&Machina's Workshop on a new car, to hopefully be included in the WSC60's pack (or as a standalone addition): the 1966 Chaparral 2D.
Unlike fellow American manufacturer Ford, Jim Hall's Chaparral actually thought a little more about the design on their racing cars, instead of dumping a 7L V8 in the back and celebrating like they won every race after pumping 600 million USD into the ...

For the WSC60s Porsche 906.
A recent RD upload by P_cote inspired me to finally work on this livery, Jacques Duval's 906 at the 1968 Watkins Glen 6 Hours. A more uniquely coloured 906 with its blue & yellow scheme, a nice change from the off-white standard we're all too used to by now.
Apparently the colours were supposed to be for a Sunoco sp...

For the GTC Shelby GT350R.
Another variant of Dick Jordan's GT350R, this time as it raced in a small race at Lynndale Farms back in 1965. Comes with a bumperless config.
The car frequently won regional meetings, also appearing in national races. The iconic maple leaf on the sides and hood has been faithfully redrawn from original photographs.
If you'd like to read more on this GT350R, here is a good article about the car before it went to auction in 2021: 2025-02-19 07:00:07 +0000 UTC

For the GTC Abarth-Simca 2000 GT.
Celebrating our 1-2 victory in the SROL Riverside 200 Miles by releasing a new authentic livery for the car. With the 2000 GT being built in relatively large quantities (for sports car standards anyway) naturally some ended up in the UK, where they raced with much successes. Especially the already included Swedane Engineering car, which has made a claim to fame as being the winningest 2000 GT ever.
On the other hand, we have Robert "Bobby" Buchana...

Hello all,
Last night I participated in my first sim race this year, teaming up with fellow mod content creator NPanic in the SROL Riverside 200 Miles endurance race. Since we were quite late on the signup period, only a handful of cars were left available for us, NPanic suggesting we both take the Abarth's and go for a class win.
Thank god he said that because WE WON! In a near 2 hour long race, NPanic set an astonishing pace in his red Abarth, while I stuck around 2nd/3rd in cl...

The legendary road race often doesn't get much attention from me, hopefully this will slightly make up for it. This is the 1964 winner, a works 904/4 GTS driven by Antonio Pucci and Colin Davis. Featuring custom numbers and an approximation green identification mark. You'd be surprised just how many "recreations" have a blue stripe on #86!!

Quite a cool privateer GT40, P/1001 saw action all over the world. The 2nd ever P (Production) chassis to be made, P/1001 debuted in America under Essex Wire branding before being sold to Bernard White after the 1966 Le Mans 24. Bernard raced the car, still wearing Essex Wire stripes, with a young Alan Rees - achieving some success in British club racing. Then the car went to South Africa where it competed in the Springbok Series, with 2 outright wins back to b...

Hello everyone,
I know I know, not much new liveries so far this year, but trust me I got good reasons as to why.
This year marks a dramatic shift in my career as I've completely changed course and applied for a college & job combo in elderly care. This week is my first week on the job and it is lovely.
The thing is, a lot of time is going towards college homework or working, meaning I have not much energy and time left for livery making. This doesn't mean the end of my...

Not only have we been working hard on bringing you the gorgeous Fairlady 2000's (of which a physics update will release soon, courtesy of Alguecool) but we've also consolidated our talents into an expanded WSC modding team together with NPanic's Garage.
He has been busy making every conceivable 365 P2 variant ever for AC in one very interesting mod. Its a fantastic effort soon to be released to the world for free, of course. In the photo you can see my two contribu...

For Legion's Chevron B16 FVC.
Dutch racing driver Rein Zwolsman was among the more successful Dutch privateer/team drivers from the 60s/70s. Starting his career in a Mini Cooper (and almost ending it early with a massive crash), Zwolsman raced a large variety of cars in the years to come. Together with Ed Swart of Abarth fame, the pair ran Team Radio Veronica, one of the first major teams to be sponsored by major companies in the country.
By 1971 the Abarth's were showing their ag...

Ronnie Hoare, better known as "The Colonel", was one of the most prominent privateer in racing, owning the Maranello Concessionaires racing team up to 1966, which ran some of the most gorgeous Ferrari liveries of all time; red with Cambridge Blue accents. He also became one of the first privateer racing ventures to race a Ford GT40 P chassis.

For the WSC60s Porsche 910.
I may be away on holiday at the moment when this post releases, but I assume the update for the pack has released by now. If not, it's coming out before the 25th of January.
This Porsche 910 had quite a bad day at the 1968 Brands Hatch 6 hour race. Not only did the car show up too late (it missed qualifying entirely), it had to start from the back of the grid. However, thanks to the skill of Austrian drivers Karl Foitek and Rudi Lins, the 910 managed to...

The Dutch Frami Racing Team was one of the more successful western European racing teams, alongside Racing Team Holland and S.R.T. Holland. Frami mainly focused on touring car races however, and achieved quite a few successes with their Escorts in Holland, Germany, Belgium and the UK.
With Dutch touring car ace Han Akersloot and founder Frans Lubin, the pair sadly failed to finish. Interestingly, they did not get to set...

Mike de'Udy had some of the most spectacular cars in British club and national/international races. For 1967, he owned both a new Lola T70 MK3GT and a 906, which he often loaned out to other drivers if he was driving the big Lola. This was the case at the 1967 BOAC 500/Brands Hatch 6 Hours. Here, the car was driven by quite a star team: Dieter Spoerry & Rico Steinemann, with the latter soon becoming the head of Porsches factory ...

IGFA Racing Team was among the wealthiest German racing teams from the late 60s, though whats sets them apart from the rest is their switch to a JWA modified Ford GT40 P/1081, whereas other teams from Germany mostly stuck with Porsches.
The GT40 did them well in 1969, racing in almost all the European WSC rounds and getting a few class wins. Such as at the Monza 1000km 1969, where it won the S5.0 class and finished 4th ...

The 908 might be one of the most successful Porsche sports cars of all time, produced in large numbers and in several variants, each delivering Stuttgart international and national wins. The Langheck might be the prettiest one of the bunch, though it failed to win Le Mans (coming close twice though!).
This car from the Paris 1000km almost escaped my clutches as there are no photos of the car anywhere. Tw...

The Italian sports car and touring car mecca, Alfa Romeo, was in the middle of a busy racing season in 1965 when this GTA entered the 1000km of the Nürburgring. Alfa Romeo had debuted the TZ2 that season, alongside a plethora of privateer TZ1's, and aimed to dominate touring car races with the little GTA. Something that they successfully pulled off.

Thank you for 400 followers!
So for this occasion I have something different. Almost a year ago now, Bazza asked me if I could whip up a custom racing livery for him and Hitman, which would be raced in the THR Le Mans 6 Hours race. While I don't typically do custom designs, this one may be one of my best.
Old race cars have, almost always, very flowing lines. To compliment these shapes I drew up a flowing nose pattern along the bodywork, sides and rear. The end result, after some...

In 1960, he entered the 24 hour race in his new Porsche 718 RS 60, together with French-Moroccan driver Robert Lacaze, sadly not finishing the race after a camshaft gave in. In 1966, Kerguen would become the first dr...
