Zara Step-By-Step Process
Check out my process for my latest piece, Zara! This is the first time using Procreate's new animation tool, it's very neat. I learned a lot from this piece and I absolutely LOOVe the way I tackled the hair and face! I feel like I'm really getting somewhere with painting and rendering.
Please let me know if you enjoy these step-by-steps or how you think I can improve them to make it as detailed and simple to understand! Thanks!

Fires Process
Had a tough time trying to figure out colours in this piece. At the end, I realized she looked a lot better red but I couldn't quite pull it off without repainting a lot of her so I just kept her blue with some red hilights. I made this piece on my trip and wasn't happy with the final product at all. How many fashionable girls can I draw?
I don't usually choose colours in the sketch phase, but I really wasn't expecting to finish this piece. I thought the sketch was a lot stronger and much livelier than the final product. Oh well, I hope from now on I hope to take what I learned into consideration and expand on the content that I draw.

2014/15 Sketchbook Tour Pt.2/2
Second part of my old sketchbook tour! This book is from the summer going into my 2nd year at Sheridan all the way through 2nd year. I loved drawing my friends and writing what we were talking about at the time. I haven't read through it yet and I wonder how personal my journal entries are... pls read at ur own risk.

Going through my old art and tbh I still love this sketchbook even though it was from so long ago. I love the colours and confidence I had making these pieces!
Growing up, my sketchbooks would double as diary and a place to draw. During college, I got busier and didn't invest so much time in sketchbooks but it would be nice to get back into it. Now I focus more on the character design rather than the illustration.
