The coloring process for this one went pretty "wild" in the sense that, while I usually set up all colors and then proceed with rendering, this time I rendered each part (hair, body, clothes, as you can see in the gallery) before moving on to another. I'd say it's "dangerous" to do because you may later find yourself forced to adjust colors or worse re-do some areas, but I felt inspired enough that it went smoothly!! โจ

Another smooth and fun process! I had some bumps here and there but they were easy to fix!
Notice how I colored the characters too dark and in the middle of the rendering I increased luminosity - the same was later done with the background, to make characters pop out more!
The other issue I had was with proportions: in the first illustration, their heads were too big and Baizhu's butt was off - I fixed both with the Fluidify tool, always a dear friend, don't be afraid to use it!<...

Look at how rather simple the setting for this illustration is, I can't believe how much I struggled to paint it!!! If I didn't do it, I wouldn't believe I had to restart from flat colors thrice.
I couldn't explain what went wrong the first two attempts, in the end I just think I wasn't in the right mood or I didn't believe in my process hard enough haha
