Phew, it took 2 months and a lot of patience to finish this animation! This is the longest animation I've ever done (137 frames!!!) and making it a full scene in a single shot was pretty challenging. I made some extra efforts at making transitions between the poses as seamless as possible while also making sure Jucika's proportions remain relatively stable.
I completed it a few minutes ago and yet I already notice flaws. It's by no means a masterpiece but I'm proud of this accomplishme...

Hi dear patrons,
I finally completed the lineart animation! Even though I've been through some quite tough days during March, I took my time and gave it as much polish I could afford. I think I made around 130 frames (probably more but I will provide a more accurate count later) of mostly handmade drawings, but with a few tweening/stretching tricks to add some bouncy effects.
The frame pacing isn't definitive, so the end product will be way slower with longer animated loops.

Hi dear patrons,
I'm doing okay since the last post but I wanted to inform you about the delay of my ongoing animation. Despite choosing the simple flat colored Jucika artstyle, the overall amount of work was way beyond my expectations(again). I have 80 completed frames so far and I'm afraid it will be over an hundred by the time I'm done! I saw an animator veteran doing similar scheduling mistakes so I'm not going hard on myself and take this situation with humor.

I have good news dear patrons,
as mentioned in my latest posts I've been through some anxiety rollercoaster during the past 2 weeks. The latest issue was especially dreadful but thankfully got resolved yesterday!
I'm now glad to confirm I'm working with a better state of mind on the last content batch of the month which includes of course the ongoing animation I started last month. Hope you're looking forward for it!

first I'd like to apologize for not finishing the full animation this month. I knew all along that it was too much work but I wanted to push my own limits. I really tried to push the polish and consistency of the character's proportions, all in a single sequence. Learning the hard way again I guess... (=3=)

I'm personally a huge animation nerd and enjoy a wide range of animated art styles with each one having its own pro and cons.
Detailed drawings means a lot of time spent on each frame, while simple art often (but not always) means less time on each drawing. Then on one end you can have a nice detailed but very short animation while the simple style can have a longer duration and/or smoother in terms of...

as explained in the important note posted earlier I had trouble making progress on this animation but I got better and completed most of the lineart animations. I don't know yet if I will be able to complete the backgrounds, colors and a few more static sequences as I initially planned.
