They are casting a new major male character for Five Night at Freddy's 2. My guess is it's Henry Emily. Filming is expected to begin in Q4 this year in New Orleans

So some updates
I hear Sony/Marvel Studios wants to announce a director this summer, as early as May. So we should hear something official soon.
Justin Lin and Drew Goddard are no longer in the mix. I can confirm what World of Reel said Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley (Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, Game Night) who wrote Homecoming are in the mix. I'm trying to find out more names and who's the top choice. Will update when I get that.
BACK TO THE FUTURE
I have also heard the J.J Abrams is attached to direct a Back to the Future homage for WB, and that Timothée Chalamet has the offer for the lead

Ok so some info:
-While there will be new young leads again, Sid and Gale are once again the main characters, along with Sid's family
-Someone is targeting Sid's family is the basic story here
-They are already in talks with actors for all the lead roles including Sid's two kids
SNOW WHITE
Here's what I know and heard about the movie:
-It's great
-To no one's surprise, Snow White herself is more independent and lead a rebellion against the Evil Witch
-Snow White has the 7 Dwarfs (CGI characters that are not called Dwarfs here) and Andrew Burnap's Jonathan who's the male lead (no prince here) has a team of 7 Bandits who are not CGI.
-The poison apple... I hear they're doing something different with that but not sure what yet

Movie will have at least 6 leads, 3 adults and 3 teens. Main lead is female, Scarlett Johansson in talks. For the male lead, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth and Glen Powell all passed. Nicholas Hoult has the current offer but since he's going to film Superman for many more months it's unlikely he will accept. Dev Patel in talks for third lead.
