Animation: Torn Silk

I believe we've gotten a song that will go will with an animation idea I have in mind! :>

Naturally, these sorts of details like the song and storyboard will be generally kept to patrons for now so everyone get's a chance to suggest scenes, perspectives, etc!

Chibi Fullbody Paint

We gently sketched out the chibi full bodies for this commisison. 

The characters are actually rather alike in colour choices so it's going to be a bit more focused on shading and how the sketch is initially set up to make sure that all differences are depicted correctly and accurately.

Steps:

We added texture, strengthened our shading, added some colour filters, and further details.

At this point, it's finishing up around the tie area and the hair/ears before any other small changes.

All details here are self drawn :> (but I did draw only one button and then copy/pasted it to the other places to save time and a headache =w=)

Storyboard Letterhead Test

I made a general storyboard layout to get things set up for animating!

This is what's going to help me start planning motion, what's happening in each scene, and space given on the outside edges of the center box (the video box) to plan things coming in/leaving.

I'm going to test it out first and naturally post most of my storyboards specifically to here. Patrons only will have a voice to suggest things that can happen, what to animate to, and will even occassionally have a chance to be ...

Christmas Miracle Please

I sincerely apologize of late for my inactivity now here. My tablet is having major problems and I can't make heads or tales of it even with technical support and etc. There's still lots of things that need to be done before Christmas and I am hoping to be able to finish it.

Besides my obvious limits, is there anything you all would like to see more for the rewards? A very darling friend got me some new pen liners and I am itching to try them out, but I'm not sure what to do!

We added just a bit of colour to see what we're working with better as well as some changed variation in hue around the subject to add depth behind him. We'll hide these layers and work more on the texture of his face and clothing. :>

We laid down our basic greyscale here in this stage.

We will be continuing the piece in greyscale and using effect-layers to add colour. Though this will mute the colours I lay down, this is my desired effect to keep the colours muted for this much more calmer atmosphere and focus on the professional setting.

omg hi! I'm so sorry I have been busy with work that I have been unable to draw for pretty much a little over a week if not more. I honestly don't remember. So here I am! Sent home from work because I'm with a severe migraine and what do I do? We focused a bit more on the shirt, hand, sword, and figuring out the background and clouds with the tornado. We'll continue on the background for now. :>

Check in at the 3 hours almost 4 mark. We blurred together the background to get the general "rush" feel of the wind and further bring focus to the main subject which is Booker. We also fixed his cloak around his shoulder area as well as worked more on the filters and hair.

Monthly Stickers

Would you all be interested in a monthly designed sticker that I would mail to you? This is just a thought that has been mulling around in my mind for some time. It wouldn't happen immediately as I'd need to figure out if I should get a printer and special paper for it or if I should go to a printing company. There would be a vote on the theme at the beginning of the month and the next month it would be done with the vote as well for the next month going on if it were to go about this way. Plea...

First wip of a patron reward and our first reward! Sadly my internet went out while streaming work on this, but who knows, maybe I could also make this a speed drawing? We'll see how it goes!

Traditional Tryout

I'm going to definitely take part in Sketchtember! It's been forever since I've done anything traditional and it shows, ahah- Here are some wip's from a traditional drawing that originally started out as a bedtime doodle and now tadaa! I may offer discounts to patreons if you'd like a traditional black and grey pencil (no colour as I have no colours! ;w; ). What are some things you would like to see in a traditional sense? What would you like me to try out in physical art?

Just a quick thing I did before passing out in sleep ;w; This will also be an example I suppose of what to expect for traditional drawings for you guys! May or may not do some light colouring. We'll experiment some more and go from there!
