The Hard Mode of the Dungeon had been a little disappointing to Reivyn. None of the encounters were altered at all, and the enhanced final boss fight due to Refix’s presence was actually more of a challenge once they figured out the trick.
That being said, figuring out and then training the method of unlocking the Hard Mode was the challenge, and trying to do it without learning the trick was nigh on impossible, so it could be argued that the feat was incredibly hard...

The rest of the week was a mix between being just as awful as Teilon feared and not being quite so bad as Refix reassured the group.
Just like when they all worked to unlock the Breath Control Skill, it wasn’t so bad at the beginning. Refix’s training plan simply had them holding their breath the same way they had while underwater after expelling their lungs while they did their normal training. Once more, the group descended to a new floor. There was no difference in the lighting as before, but the oppressive feeling Reivyn sensed from the darkness beyond his senses grew more oppressive. The tunnel leading to the third floor led straight into more tunnels.
The true start of the third floor was an intersection with multiple openings leading every which way but up. Reivyn could see more, smaller intersections further down, though, that did have multiple avenues leading upward.
