As I explain, there's a combination of medical conditions that are complicating things, but I have a nostalgic review of comic books to go along with my rambling explanation.
And of course, Remain Indoors.

Today's Stitch in Time, Lone Wolf, and also me grumbling sarcastically about the incident with Rust, wherein I complain about bad Canadian news sites and equatorial conspiracy theories.
Barring problems, I'll be getting the new Enterprise episode to Officers and up Sunday night.

Running through a few more of the things I need to do, but getting there. Just running a little out of steam, YT is really tiring sometimes.
In the meantime, first episode of Full Metal Panic is back if you'd like to see it early: https://youtu.be/cwVSJDx1X9Q

Feeling much better today, so attached you'll find a couple of things. One is the final ESB Musing, just reflecting on the ending. I'll be turning that into a video for Saturday.
Also, as I mentioned Monday is when I discuss Beast Wars: The Agenda. It got a bit bigger so it's going to be a separate video from Optimal Situation. I've attached the audio of the discussion of The Agenda as well.

Attached are the latest Stitch in Time and Lone Wolf chapters. As the title says, rewards will go out this week.
We've been making progress on the ceiling, clearing away and ripping out the previous half-ass job and rebuilding it properly. We've just started installing joists to support it; cleaned out all the shit up there anyway, might as well use it as spare attic storage. Once that's done we'll move in to restoring electricity (all the previous wires and conduits were destroyed duri...

So, I wanted to try an experiment and had just the project for it. I'm covering a movie, which is a very involved process. But, I've decided to try working on it and releasing it in four parts over a one to two month period. It will be interesting to see how that works out, rather than dropping it all at once.
So, what is the film? Brace yourself.
It's The Godfather.
Yes. Yes, I know.
That's the reason it's here. The circumstances were such that, appropriately, i...

This is a heads up that my plans for the day are screwed.
You may recall during Dragon Age II recording part of the ceiling fell down? This was from water damage. Since then I thought I had fixed the problem that was causing it, and in fact went a step further and built a soffit, with the top lined with plastic, just in the off chance there might be a small leak.
Well, as I was working today, water is dripping from the edge of the soffit. I opened it up and saw, yeah, things...

I don't have everything done for the rewards page yet, so here's last week's SiT and Lone Wolf late and this week's ones early.
I'm at the stage where I want to try to rotate in an animated work in for the Wednesday slot by the end of the month. I sent the senate a ballot for that along with a few other things today (in case you're on the senate and didn't notice it).
For the officers and up, I was wondering if the unscripted works like Absolute Carnage and Tomorrow War are ...

I thought I'd do a little something, so this is me talking about One More Day. I know I run the risk of being accused of being the last person on the net to talk about OMD, but I felt this might be something that needs saying. Plus with the possibility Marvel may see the wisdom of reversing the controversial story, it would be even more dated if I said this after. I hope these words might be worthwhile consideration for something larger than the specific work. In any case, they come from the ...

Attached is my monologue on the impossible to believe Chimney of Surprise.
On a side note, as I feared the chimney took out my coffee table. I know this is stupid, but it was the first piece of furniture I bought when I moved into my own place, an extremely sturdy model that saw me get married, raise two kids, five moves, and almost twenty-five years, it was there because they don't make them tough like that any more. It had a solid bottom piece rather than legs, then a cubbyhole in the...

I still have to figure out what to do about Encounter at Far Point 2 (still don't know what DM hates about that one) and Skin of Evil, but I still have the BC version there so they're at least watchable. You may need to hit ctrl-f5 to get the new video to show up.
Sorry for officers and up, didn't realize the week was getting away from me. I'll have Random Thoughts for you later today, it's actually half done, and it's the hard part that's finished (having to watch Neelix get his whiske...

You'll be getting the things I planned for the weekend later today. I had thrown myself into getting TNG and DS9 up as well. Well, DS9 is now completely restored (except for Chrysalis, which will be up later today). Everything else is in a state of "almost done."

I realize at this point things slowing down has become hard to believe, so I thought, in case you're starting to think I'm just inventing excuses while I sit around watching cartoons all day, here's a photograph. This is as far as we have gotten dealing with a chimney we didn't know existed until it fell through the ceiling. As you can see, we've been taking turns dismantling it brick by brick. I suggested we attempt the Tetris method of completing four rows all at once to make the bricks dis...

In my race to get Inquisition out the door, I completely forgot to do your typical Saturday rewards last week. Sorry about that. Those are up now (Khan, Lone Wolf, and for Officers and up, War of the Coprophages). I'll be getting you what was supposed to be finished for this weekend ASAP, then get started on May. This will take a day or so, as my A/C unit isn't working and with all the electronics the office is hot enough to potentially overheat something. I called a 24 hour repair and mainte...

So, a couple months back I announced that I was doing a three month experimental plan for the show, in an effort to restore past content while still maximizing output. Well, I'm terminating the experiment after two months, the results are already conclusive. It seemed that way for a while, but the fact that I needed to pull an all-nighter in order to get Halo 4 done on time for public (nevermind early access) release, and that the same thing will likely happen with Inquisition says that the p...

Been working on Jedi Knight, Patlabor Movie, and Inquisition, so thought I'd take a break to drop the third Time of Wizards for you early, since with this being the one year anniversary of Vimeo kicking me out, getting something early is a novel reversal of being late. It's hard working on some of this though. Reviewing Patlabor the Movie is a bit like having nothing but a single solitary chopstick and a booklet about Asian cooking that's written in Dutch.
Most of my family has been vac...

I'll be putting together your rewards page some time tomorrow. While you're waiting, I've attached the latest chapters of Khan and Lone Wolf!
I thought I'd share this too, my attempt to get out of town for a day this past week. Around the start of the year, my washing machine died, we'd kept it running for as long as possible but clearly there was no saving it at this point, and the dryer had been on its last legs for a year, it wasn't a dryer so much as a hair dryer with delusion...

First, I recorded the second part of Time of Wizards if you liked the first one, it's attached to this post and will be included in the Redshirt package for March.
Second, a quick heads up on the restoration: with what I've learned many aspects are going much smoother. I'd even say that if I took a month off and did nothing for the show but work on this, I could probably reduce the number of outstanding videos to single digits, we're going that smoothly. But it is time consuming, and th...

First, just to get this out of the way, I'd wanted to get you all your reward pages and the usual Saturday stuff for tomorrow, but I just need a few days to breathe here. The DM problem has turned this back into a 7-day a week job, and after four weeks of that I'm kinda beat.
But I've attached two things to this. First is what was going to be the Q&A for February, which is actually an FAQ that will get posted on the site some time soon, just answering some of the many questions rela...

As I mentioned previously, the TOS, TNG, and Enterprise reviews have all required me to remove their titles, which is making their move a slow process. It also means that I wasted time putting together the Enterprise 1080p title sequence, but I thought, since the TNG one was a hit, I'd pass this along too. :-)
Captains and up, I don't know if you saw my tweet, but I'm swapping Idiocracy with Lilo & Stitch. I ran into a technical hurdle that I knew was going to be here, but thought i...

Just to keep you all in the loop.
Intention is for things to continue to move forward, first emphasis on progress. So fixing missing videos is going slower for the moment. Part of that is morale. I didn't want to be a downer, but that just shut me down when it happened, Dragon Age Inquisition was supposed to be 10-15 minutes longer, but I just couldn't find it in me to do anything else the rest of the day. I'll likely make Part 2 longer to balance it out.
The intention had been be...

So, the COVID bill has passed, including: a Teddy Roosevelt Library, the US policy regarding the reincarnation of the Dali Lama, instructions for the Smithsonian to build identity museums for women and Latinos, the usual stuff needed to fight disease and undo the economic hardships experienced by Americans. This has been soft soaped as only directed towards criminal profiteers, but so far everything indicates...

You might have heard me mention that my computer broke (again). The SSD that windows was on started failing, so I spent Wednesday and most of Thursday trying to resolve the problem, the biggest being how to lose as little as possible. I had been planning to do a reinstall of Windows during the New Year break because of long term problems that I've been having, so the only two unfortunates of it are the timing and that I wasn't able to prepare ahead of time and streamline the process.

As I laid out in my last post, right now the plan is that my main Youtube channel (sfdebris), my reserve channel (now officially called SFDebris Red), and DailyMotion will be the permanent hosts for all videos. Bitchute will remain only as a stopgap when time makes other options impossible. Bitchute can't do unlisted videos, doesn't have a player with native fullscreen, has on and off streaming issues, not to menti...

Hi!
First off, Officers and up, block 2 of Rick and Morty is up. Captains and up, part 2 of Nemesis Games is up. Your rewards page is updated to link to them.
So, main reason I wanted to drop a message here is to tell you what's going on. I've been mentioning for a long time about the (hard to believe) stress that this job has. Seven months of moving the show hasn't helped that. But I just had an eye-opening conversation which said that, medically, I'm 67 years old. Walking throug...
