These are designs for the short story in Skyset Knights about Verus' past and how he came to make his own guild.

Verus was left in the Zeland woods (the same place where Arka was born) as a hatchling, abandoned by his mage father who passed on a cursed marking and the knowledge of all forbidden magicks...

I think my favorite detail about my line art in general and this page is the 'feel' of the characters against each other. I'm super happy with the last panel, especially the little dip of Verus' cheek where Jet's nose is pressing into his face - he's kissing him quite hard haha :)

The extra outfits I designed for Jet and Verus for the backstory about how they met. Jet was a tailor before he was a gladiator so he has an extra nice sense of fashion :) it's an interest Verus and Arka also share, and also another reason Verus fell in love with him. 

The leftmost outfits are for when Jet kills for Verus the first time and kisses him for the first time; the other two outfits are for when Jet was working at the tailor's shop and Verus took notice of him ;)
