Another one of my projects on the go at the moment is a breakdown of this classic atmospheic DnB tune. One of my all time favourites!
Sometimes its great practise to disect a tune you really like a see whats going on inside it. I've done my best to accuratley recreate this tune in Logic X so we can walk through all the interesting sound design elements that are going on. Also that old school style of arranging a 6-7min track. Really looking forwards to this one also :)

I've got a bunch of new exciting projects on the way. This is probably the one I'm most inspired by and it's been a real challenge so far! The concept is to make a track solely from the AOE 1 in-game sounds + Soundtrack in Renoise. I'm also not allowed to use single-cycle waveforms as that feels like cheating. Looping is still of course allowed and entirely necessary to make any headway out of these samples.
I've got an interesting track going so far but it definitely needs a little pus...

I recently bought a copy of Amen, Brother on vinyl and thought this would be a great place to share. I've also included all the different versions of my copy + the two other best versions I've found online.

Sorry I've been a bit quiet on this recently! I've been hard a work making the last couple of vids and producing a track for my next tutorial. I haven't done anything Dubstep related on the channel yet, so thought it would be a great idea to test my ability making an Alex Perez inspired dubstep track!

I thoroughly read through the Paradox DOA thread multiple times diseccting every useful bit of information I could. A lot of this I cover in the video's but it might be useful for you guys to have all the essntials extracted in this way.
Sampling Slow to increase Sample Rate
This may be an interesting thing to start here. For every project, I do a huge amount of research and take notes as I go. These eventually turn into a script but have lots of great info in them for people to pick apart.
