A bit late getting this one up but here's the mid-move progress on the studio, including a look at what still needs to be done to get the set up and running.

It's been a busy couple of weeks with me getting sick and the move underway so this update has been a little delayed, but at least you can get an idea of the progress so far.

I appreciate the quick feedback guys, I won't bother following up with Kinguin. I've added them to the G2A and SCDkey list, that is to say we will never advertise them on Hardware Unboxed.

Okay guys, you know we've avoided G2A and SCDkey like the plague. Recently "www.kinguin.net" reached out to advertise with us but I'm not sure what to make of these guys. They appear to be legit but I wanted to see if you think we should or shouldn't take money from them for advertising on the channel.

Tim is moving house, so that means there's a new behind the scenes series hitting the Patreon feed!
In the first part today, we're going through what needs to happen with the move, the logistics of it, a look around the set and how it all will go down in the next few weeks

Okay so we're pretty surprised by support viewers are showing for the old intro, given we both hated it. That said people don't often like change so we were expecting some backlash. So tell us, are we hearing from a vocal minority or was the old intro really better?

Come join us for the March 2019 live stream where Steve and Tim will be talking about all the latest topics in tech. Not sure what exactly, but it's always a bit of fun.

The first stream will be held at 12 noon AEDT on March 26th. This is one hour earlier than we normally do the stream. Also, there won't be a second stream this month.
The video will be embedded right here on Patreon and posted in the Discord chat. Like last time, you'll be able to watch a recording if you miss it.
Time zone conversions... well DST has stuffed everything up but it's at the usual time and we'll post the links when it goes live

On our latest Metro Exodus optimization guide, a lot of people were talking about AMD's driver level tessellation features that let you limit the amount of tessellation.
Here I have retested the game with tessellation limited to both 4x and 16x. There is a performance improvement, especially for 1% lows. However the average performance level is only slightly improved. Tessellation quality is slightly reduced when you enable the option in AMD's driver.
Our recommendation here is st...

Guys when there's more than two dozen graphs I just have to attach them. Embedding imagines in a Patreon post is painful, you have to upload each imagine individually and it's very slow. I didn't have over an hour to upload 66 graphs, plus if the browser crashed (you can't save as you go) I'm probably throw my PC out the window :D
