Was I a guilty party in helping spread the craze? Of course. But it took me less than a week to realize that any iteration of the 75 Hard wouldn't work for me, despite desperately wanting it to.

We have a new cat!
His name is Samwise Catgee and so far he's a very brave boy (much like the hobbit he's named after). He also loves cuddles and is a purr machine.

I wanted to hop on here first before I told anyone else. What I once called UNDER THE INFLUENCE - changed because Simon & Schuster, our distributor, already had a book with that title that came out in 2023 - is now THANKS FOR WATCHING.

The month is off to a strange start. My plans have been pushed back a little since my husband's grandma ended up with a surprise stay in the hospital. (I had been joking that I caught her illness before, so I can't even imagine what it must have felt like at 80+ years old. I was STRUGGLING.)

I spent the morning trying to get my MIL's new cat -- Rocky -- to come out from behind the dryer (his favorite hiding spot). He's stayed hidden the entire couple months she's had him (eating treats and food fine though, lol) but I'm determined to get him to come out.
