Shortest title so far 😁 I worked almost full time on this since the idea emerged about five weeks ago.. I want to make a little making of and talk a bit more about it. If there's questions or suggestions let me know here or sent me a message :)

Carbon Filament

Apparently I'm working on this Light Bulbs video for a month now... They say time goes faster when you grow older. And indeed this month felt shorter than the previous month ;-)

This lamp is estimated to be from 1998 or older (Made in Holland!). Guess where I found it...

This is one of those photos that look better in large. As a thumbnail it's not that significant. Shot in spring 2022.

Skyline spectrum

I got a sheet of diffraction grating filter and used it te make a spectral filter. This is all still part of the Light Bulbs video I'm working on, which is now about 25 minutes long 😱 I'm making good progress with it, only waiting for one more light bulb 😇

Village emerging

A village emerging over the mist... Shot on that same day from months ago, with the frost and fog in the south of The Netherlands, shortly after sunrise. I should have focused on this tele shot more during sunrise, I could probably have gotten better shots.

Metamorphose

This is a sports and events terrain that, in the morning mist 'metamorphosed' into something mysterious. The 'distant tower' is a climbing wall, way smaller than it might seem. The large circle has a stairs inside and is "functional art" I think.

Zooming in on a RGB LED bulb (0,5mm)

Did you know that a color LED is made from only blue LEDs, and that a single LED of this lamp is made from 3 groups of 6 LEDs? Well that last part I didn't know until I saw it. The last shot is 0,5mm wide...

I forgot to include this one last week. But it's so different from my usual pictures that I guess it deserves it's own post 😇

Unexpected Sun

It was misty and gray, but the clouds unexpectedly cleared, creating this nice mood. Shot on January 15 this year.

Choices II

Like last weeks "Tele Tuesday" sunset, for this sunrise it was also quite hard to make a choice. In all the 15+ years of capturing ground fog in the early morning, I have never seen it blown away by a sudden breeze right at sunrise. So again here's a bunch 😉

See notice at the start! This was meant as lazy video but I got caried away... All bulbs in this video were bought or 'inherited' as practical lights. Tuns out I have quite a few. Alternative title: Lightbulb goes Poof 😁

Fun fact: The "Strange Filters" video actually also started out as a lazy video about the Cokin filter. But too much effort went in, and then I came up with the idea of the CD case filter and that became the main subject :)

By the way, by chance there's a small sun eclipse here (in the Netherlands), a bite out of the sun, at the exact moment this video releases. l'll see if I can capture anything interesting...

To my surprise there was the "frozen seawater phenomenon" in the morning of February 18th. I didn't think it would be cold enough.

Not as close a usual, but it fits the scene and increases the contrast.

"Illegal vista" on a nice morning

I "did not hop over that fence" again to make my way through bushes and get this "illegal vista" of the sunrise over this steaming lake, with frosted bushes in the foreground. (Shot march 3rd)

I didn't use to post Lazy Posy videos here, but perhaps I should.

"New" optical color filter "by Posy"

These color effects are created with an optical filtering technique that "I came up with". In essence it's nothing new, but I'm not sure if anyone thought of using this as a creative (but otherwise completely useless) filter. The 'how' will be in a video that I'm working on... (As said before I'm not the 'finish-one-video-before-starting-the-next' type of guy....)
