Koi Koi Koi

Long time followers might know that I've been working on this paper koi lantern project for a while. It took forever to find a good manufacturer that can bring my design to life, and now I'm getting ready to do a Kickstarter to make your very own DIY koi lantern kit :)

Here are some photos of the koi lanterns, as well as a celestial koi bookmark design that'll be part of the Kickstarter stretch goals. I'll be working on some koi stickers and postcards as well :)

After the Stars Fell

Finally back from Anime Expo, and of course I got Covid during those hectic days in the massive crowds ;_; I've been resting in bed until now, still feeling a bit sick but much better now. I'll be able to make more art as I recover from all this. Thanks for all the patience <3

As some of you may know, I'll be at Anime Expo this July 1-4, which also means I will still be traveling back home on July 5th, the day I usually send out the monthly rewards. Patreon takes about 5 days to finish charging all the cards so I can't send out the rewards before I leave.

In the Liminal of Magic

Finally back from Fanime and still alive lol. 

I recently got access to a new image generating AI called Dall-E 2, and asked it to create a "magical library filed with plants, and stars in the ceiling". It generated the square image, and  I separately asked it to generate some stars. I was able to paint over and combine these images to create this painting.

I'm personally super excited for this new AI technology and all the ways it can enhance the art creation process ...
