scribbling out some ideas for this month's painting!! Eddie and Seamus threw a house party for st paddy's and I think he partied a little too hard and ended up asleep on the kitchen floor. oh gosh.

ok mighty celery stalks! attached to this post is the layered photoshop file of the armored knight character with ALL the variations possible contained within the layers. I had to downsize the file just the tiniest bit to make it fit within patreon's file size requirements, but it's still 4k so not much was lost.

he's coming along! the goal with this guy is to have him be very very customizable in the end. I'm painting up tons of different layers of armor (and other things...) that can be shown/hidden to make a lot of variations. I think it'll be really cool!! high tier patrons will get the photoshop file to play around with and create their own custom build for this character... I'm actually excited to see which options people settle on as their own personal favorites!

Finally got this painting done! This was by far the most work I've put into anything I've done on here. But, this painting was special to me - I really loved getting to flesh these two guys out a bit and develop them into more real people through showing their environment and a bit of their interaction. And Seamus's car, haha. I hope you all enjoy this painting, and I hope maybe it can function as a window into their world for you, to allow you to live alongside them for a while!💚

🎨update on this month's painting!

hey guys!! I was out of town most of last week on a trip with the husband and some family. I'm back now and diving back into this month's painting, the scene of Seamus and Eddie outside their apartment. I'm eager to get back into it!! I'm going to go nuts this week and have it ready to post on the 1st. look for it then.... 🕵️‍♂️

this one's going to be a doozy! over the weekend I settled on a lighting/color/mood setup that I really like and am excited to keep pushing forward with. ideally not all that much will change as I finalize the piece and I can retain this hazy summery bright feel. and yes, we're starting with the shirtless version!! easier for me to start there and add more clothes after the fact, I'll show twitter the clothed version.

This is a scene I've wanted to paint for ages and ages now, and I think it's time! I really want to show a bit of Seamus and Eddie's world - the kind of neighborhood they live in, Seamus's tricked out car, and try to communicate a little of their friendship at the same time. This one definitely won't be a filthy naughty sex scene and if that's a letdown to some of you I apologize!! But I hope some of you will like getting a sense of these characters and a feel for them in the world they live ...
