oh boy, bringing a new character into the mix. Eddie got sick of waiting around for Seamus to give him the time of day and found somebody else, and it looks like things are going pretty well. This is Kal, short for Khalil, he's a teaching assistant at Eddie's grad school... and I'm sure we'll learn more about him in the future 😏

alright, this month's painting is going to be a little different! a few weeks ago, I posted this ancient painting I did (in 2006 I think 😱, as a baby celery) to Twitter, and this month I'm going to update it!
I'm going to keep the general vibe of the scene the same, but I changed the central character to my holy knight Verrix, and I'm going to add a real background.

I'm going to be traveling on vacation for a week starting tomorrow night (super excited!) so I'll scramble to get this green guy finished for the 1st of october. look for it then! 💚💚
I gotta say I really liked this alternate lighting and mood for this scene, I really couldn't make up my mind which I liked better. in the end I think the rainy day supported the mood I was going for more, but what do you guys think??
