To cut to the chase; roughs on ep 3 are 96% done, cleans are 40-ish % done. We got a month and a half left to get everything else done so I'm going to be insanely busy!
Which means that right now I have nothing really to show in terms of update this friday and possibly the next few fridays. I'll try to let you guys know how things are progressing in the mean time but don't expect anything too extravagant until release late December.

No update last week as all that was worked on was the ending, and we don't wanna spoil that now do we?
This weeks update though is MASSIVE, and this is only 1/3 of what was completed! All roughs should be in by Monday and then it's just on the crew to finish off their allotted clean up by the end of November!

More work continues to trickle in from the crew and with my BIG NDA thing finishing 1 hour ago I'll be able to go ham on firing out my own batch (74 left!) then on Monday I'll be going through another round of roughs / cleans to polish off the remaining other 98 shots.

A few weeks ago Ashley and I got invited to talk on the Lackadaisy Shop talk podcast which is happening this Sunday! (17th of Sept 2pm PST).

Chipping away at this little by little as this NDA gig has me by the balls. Good news on that front is that it's gonna be ending much sooner than originally planned (September 18th instead of mid October), the bad news is because of that it's not gonna be paying nearly as much haha wee. Update time!
Progress is slowly being made, here is what we got done this week along with some roughs from our crew!
Now I got some good news and some bad news;
Bad news first - I've been stolen to work on a rather prestigious show for a few months, I can't say what it is with the NDA but I do know it'll make you guys smile, so progress on Ep 3 will slow a bit.
Now the good news - As above, this job is gonna be paying ver...
The first proper week of animation is over and my team is hard at work animating what they can with our current budget.
We've almost hit 2 minutes out of the 10 minute budget already in this week alone. It's pretty scary how quickly things get done when you have money!
Speaking of; currently in talks with a couple places to get shirts, hats and hard enamel pins made to hopefully help fund the rest of the animation on ep 3. I'll have more news about those come September!
