April Fools 2023 + April update

Surprise surprise! Without much of a plan going into this month, I decided on a spur-of-the-moment sequel to last year's April Fools adventure, and it turned into an extended scenario over on Twitter (and Instagram and DeviantArt, though Twitter's the main location for it all). I'm starting to wrap it up...

The final stretch! There's always more little details to adjust and fix, backgrounds to add, poses to tweak... But we're almost there, and now you get to see the full concept I've been aiming for!

It's still been tricky to get the tongues and everything looking right (thanks for the suggestions before though!), but I'm pretty happy with where things are at now. Their tongues are flexible enough to imagine they're not having too much trouble getting them all to fit :D

Valentines 2023 wip1

My "early" start on this one has ended up being not-so-early, but still on track to get this one done for you folks over the next week! Something fun between Mimi and the not-recently-seen Jasmine, and a bunch of you have been requesting more of the kissy kissy lately too so why not :D

Still tricky to get their tongues looking... well, like they're actually kissing, but rendering helps! And there will be a few more details to come, that should also help things along...~

Starting off the Year of the Rabbit with, surprise! A new character, and would you look at that, she's a bunny-girl. How fitting! (I've wanted a bunny-girl for a while, this was just the perfect excuse to work on a design.)

She hasn't decided on a name for herself just yet, but not to worry, she'll just answer to 'bunny' for now. :D Bright and bouncy is an extremely fitting description for her; energetic, enthusiastic, she loves to dance and move, and maybe likes sugary sweets a little ...

A 'simple' start to the new year! It's been a little bit since Teena got in a picture, and who better to start 2023 off with then basically my mascot character. And who better to pair the cute kitty with than the cute doggo that is Penny! :D

Looking to start off the year with something fun and familiar! And what could be more fun or familiar than the happy face of Teena :D

Simple, at least so far; I think I need to continue to remind myself to keep things simple where I can. Yeah it's fun to do big complicated scenes with lots of details, but that's also far too easy to overdo, and complexity doesn't make a picture good. It just makes it complex. (which can sometimes be good, but still.)

2023's first experiments

A belated happy new year, everyone! I'm starting things off with something a bit different, but not too different; I believe I did share a bit of experimental rough animations last year, and here I am doing it again!

As before, the same disclaimers apply. I don't intend to finish these, though it would be great if I could. They're just for-fun experiments with animation, using the more limited tools that DAZ offers... I'm sure I could learn more with a program like Ble...

2022 in summary

Another year comes to a close! (or already has, depending on timezones and all.) I haven't really done one of these "year in review" things, at least not in a long while, but I felt like trying it this year.

It's nice to look back at what I've finished; besides the big pieces, there have been characters and profile updates and doodles, lots of fun things!

I won't lie, 2022 also kinda sucked for me. The rough patches were some of the roughest I've had, and there were months I strug...

(belated) Prints shop announcement!

So this is a bit late to share here, but! I'm experimenting with some print-on-demand through Redbubble now! For the moment it's just prints I've already made; way back in 2017 I re-did a few of my favorite works to be print-ready to sell at SizeCon that year, and while I haven't done anything further since then, I still have all of those print-ready files; why not start again and see where things go...

Almost there! I did say I had some bigger plans, just needed to put things together!

With a little luck, I'll have the scene done in a day or so ^^ Christmas is coming up fast (as with most holidays for me), and I'd like to have this done and posted for you all here before the holiday is actually here. Shouldn't be much besides final touches and of course, postwork.
