Banana Raider cosplay

Hello. Let me reveal a little about that next game. It will be a Tomb-Raider parody. Main character is a hot cosplayer chick that after an accident thinks she really is Lara Croft and will go on a treasure hunt for the most mythical relic ever. On her side, ever worrying for her good friend, is this brainiac Velma-like sidekick character (with a secret crush on her friend) and together will embark on this small sexy adventure.

Gearing up towards (Orthodox) Easter here, there is lots that needs to be done outside. Once done though I will have a lot more time for drawing.

The problem with knowing how to do lots of things is first of all that you do them yourself, because you don't trust anyone else will do a better job than you, and next is other people offload their tasks on you somehow.. But enough with my problems.

Lets start with an update.

Change of Style

Hey. Feels like its been a while since my last post. Recently I have been experimenting with other shading styles and I think I am close to something that will make my drawings better. 

Above is one of those test. I borrowed  "Boobsgames's" character, he posted some days ago on Twitter and applied that technique. Slow week...

Hello friends. Last week I didn't manage to do much other than finish this image you see now on tier3. I am posting the video of the coloring process on youtube ::Link removed:: in case you want to check these boobies out a little closer. Video colors didn't turn out that great and I am not so sure what the problem was. I apologize for that and will have to look for a solution in the future. Again no sound, best play your own music + Youtube is a little strange when it comes to videos with music...

Inking Tier3 image

Hi. Today I was chilling and inking the Tier 3 image. You may have noticed T1&2 are up already making this place a little sexier. So I thought why not record it? I am not up for streams as I step away to do other things quite often. Maybe in the future I'll find some time to really sit my ass down for a stream.

Well, since the "game" is going to take a while, I will be releasing some of the art so you get an idea of the final quality and you don't get bored too much. 

I didn't kill it over-polishing because the game will be with cell-shaded art as well or the animation I think will look weird.

Lola Cosplay

About 2 weeks ago I made this image (fan-art) of Akabur's character "Lola" in a cross-mix cosplay with Harley Quinn's color style. I don't know if he will post it anywhere or not. I send him as soon as I finished it but i haven't heard back from him yet.

Ariel animation test (for Patrons)

So I decided to have a go at a simple animation before the longer game project. Even though this was my first try in animation and assembling it for RenPy, I didn't face any problems. 

So simple CGs can be turned in animations if they are thoughts out well beforehand to draw all the elements needed just right. Here, if I had thought of it beforehand I could have animated everything, lips, breath, head. SO yeah, its exciting and not extremely time consuming.

Dude wtf ...

You know these days when you say I'll pop at the super market for 30 minutes and you end up returning home 3 days later? What? Doesn't happen to you? Well to me neither but this is what this drawing felt like.

So I started drawing a noodie of Ariel, I said this will be just a quickie to "stretch my legs" a bit. Drawing Ariel took just a few hours, then I said to add her friends. That crab-like thing and the fish and a couple extras. So OK, one crab and one fish coming right up, crab on couch, ...

Sometimes there is nothing interesting to post, so days go by without an update. But this is not good, so here is what I've been doing since last week. 

Since the script finished a few days ago and I made a list with all the images that will go in this, I moved to the next step. It's been decided

The die is cast, Ariel will be the first on the "game-y" thing. Mostly (un-)dressup with a little story (yes text). I'll try to keep it interesting and funny. Although it may have a little branching (player decisions), the thing will be pretty linear or it may take ages to finish. Better do mistakes on a simple thing than pick a fight with the Hydra ( the 10 headed monster) straight on.

April doesn't like pizza (on her)

I didn't want to spend ages on this one and it didn't turn out completely bad. Some 6-7 hours on it, so it looks like I am close to my target of one decent drawing per day.  

Since I stopped doodling and delete my sketches all the time trying to do something perfect, I see steady improvement. Focusing on a finished piece does it for me and starting my Patreon definitely helped in that direction. 

My current schedule is one day for a drawing and another for practice. Still lots ...
