"Breathtaking" Animatic w/ Song Demo

I thought you might want have wanted to take a glimpse at how our music videos look like in the middle of the development process. So here you go, an original animatic of the Keanu Reeves music video, along with one of the first demo versions of the song itself! 

It's dated July 8, 2019, so the song's been in works for just a few weeks. Most of it is drawn by our animator Yumi the Cat, assisted by our motion designer Lenich.

Hey Chalksters! While working on It Just Works we asked many great vocalists on the Internet to do a demo for us, and one guy really stood out. His name was Dennis DeMille, and even though we almost immediately thought that hiring him would be a miscast for this particular song, his demo was brilliant.

I really want to hire him for one of our next songs though, how do you guys feel about it? Google his performance on Britain's Got Talent — the guy is brilliant.

Yo! Ergy's here again!

While working on the IJW choir, I had to listen to a lot of vocal tracks from our friends, and of course all of them were different. But this one was so different, that inspired (lol) me to write metal song. Unfortunately, this gorgeous performance didn't fit the main choir, but we could still pay respect, that it deserves.

And yeah, I have to warn you right away, it is difficult. REALLY. A lot of strange chords and stuff.

Behold, the very first, very rough demo of IJW.

Since I'm more a rock/pop person myself, I had no idea on how to write jazz or swing songs. :D So I wrote this rough midi for Masel to arrange it into a big band kind of song, and he did it perfectly.

When we started the project, we established a goal that seemed unreachable — get 10 000 subscribers until the end of the summer.  

Yesterday Ergy brought this delicious cake to celebrate our little achievement.

And now there's 15k and counting. Thank you so much, guys!  Seems like taking months to finish IJW as we imagined it was a right call after all ^_^
