2021 Review

Hey everyone!

I want to thank you for joining me this year by either following me or becoming a patron. If you want to read more about my year and maybe a bit more of what's to come, I would like to invite you to read my 2021 review on the Sea of Starlight.

As you might have noticed, this month I have not posted any new items. That is because I took part in the WorldAnvil event WorldEmber. I wrote over 60.000 words, all of it is publicly available and it includes a bunch of potions, items and other fun stuff I plan to illustrate and publish/use in 2022. You can find all the articles I wrote right here.

November Update

Hey everyone,

As you may have noticed on social media, I haven't been posting much new content there lately. Not only have I been mighty busy with my job as a teacher at university, but I've mostly been writing things for Mapvember and preparing for WorldEmber.

All in all, this means you'll get A LOT of content next month. I want to do at least 10k words of worldbuilding writing, but am keeping an eye on 50k words...  You can check out my full article and rundown of plans at this link.

I plan on streaming some of my process so join the discord to be notified of that or go to twitch.tv/thebonusaction and drop a follow!

Not only is building a world fun and whatever I make you can just take and put it in your own world, but this worldbuilding really helps me create more interesting and unique items, creatures and other types of content for you. It inspires me to make things that are different and fun, so I want to put in a lot of thought and effort next month.

The last challenge on WorldAnvil I did was summercamp, which sparked all sorts of inspiration for glass weapons, cultural armor and a bunch of other items.

No worries, for this month I still plan on finishing some creatures and items in the following weeks which for the time being will be patreon exclusives.  Next week I'll be drawing a bunch of them and finishing up the statblocks and text. Just know that I'm working hard on a lot of things and am very excited about what is to come!

It's a secluded elven city/region covered in (magical) snow.

Creature - Pearl Guard

Hey everyone!

Ever since I wrote about the pearl guard weaponry and outfit, I've wanted to create the actual stats for the people using them. So here they are, finally!
I haven't created art for these but think you might like them anyway!

For ease of use, you can find the arctic griffon in this pack as well. I'd still like to do art of that one someday soon and publish it separately :)

Murder Aboard the Handsome Garpike

Next to Swordtember i'm working on a oneshot adventure: a murder mystery at sea. Coincidentally this month WorldAnvil did a Shipwright challenge, so I already wrote about and mapped the ship on which this adventure will take place: The Handsome Garpike.
