Final July Piece Update
Hey everyone!
Because of how long Mega Mecha Mishap took me to finish up, the final piece of July will be coming in the next few days (probably early next week sometime). I just didn't want to rush it for the end of July since this was the concept suggested/voted on by you guys and I want it to turn out nicely. So keep an eye on your email in the meantime!
After it's done, I'll make another post to lay out when the first official piece of August will come out!
Mega Mecha Mishap - Concept Sketches
Just for anyone curious: some of the early concept sketches for the comic where I was still figuring things out.
I looked at a lot of different mecha designs and pilot suits to piece together what I wanted for this story: for the pilot suits in particular, I took some influence from Supergirl's outfit in the show, My Adventures with Superman, because I LOVED that metal "chin strap" looking thing she has. Warren would normally have been able to successfully access Saya's mech and open up the top, but it's a little HARD to focus on hacking when you can see your partner outgrowing her clothes through your video feed.
