So here is my final version of the mini-game experiment. I took a while to finish because there was a little bit of learning curve with the plugins. But i learned a lot so its been a good experience.
The minigame is just Rock Paper Scissors. You make your choise and Emmy will randomly pick hers. Rock beats Scissors, Scissors beats Paper and Paper beats Rock. :) 3 wins to win a round, each time you win a round a piece of clothing drops off Emmy. There are no consequences for ...

I got this idea some time ago to try make a minigame in VAM. Mainly i just wanted to try out some plugins ive been looking at from JayJayWon. These plugins (VUML, ActionGrouper, ActRandomizer) allow you to create a little bit of "game logic" without scripting.
This was a learning project for me, so its really not that interesting to actually play out. But perhaps if youre creating scenes yourself and want to add a little bit of complexity to them, you can use this scene as something to ...

I made a small update to the Lightroom, you can apply some shadow presets to the Key light and make vertical/horizontal adjustments to them. Because shadows like this are quite boring in a simple environment like the Lightroom, i also created a simple guide on how to quickly create your own shadows to lights with just simple black and white textures and ingame atoms.
The guide is in .ODT (OpenDocument) format and should open with most word processors like Wordpad etc.

Here is an initial version of the light setup scene i was messing around with. It started out as just an example of a 3 point light setup, but i added the buttons and stuff to make it a bit more interactive.
I used my latest look Emmy in this scene, together with an older hair (Alys hair) so you will need those VARs. All dependencies are listed at the bottom of this post.

Im working on something a little different atm, its intended to be a scene where you can play around with lighting setups, and colors of the lights. I want to keep it relatively simple but i keep getting ideas to add to it so we'll see what it ends up like.
Currently you can;
- Rotate the model 360 with the 3 point lighting setup following the rotation
- Adjust intensity of Key, Fill and Back lights.

Here is the cute freckled redhead i was working on. Emmy has a new hair, some custom morphs and textures. The hair is a bit messy but i think it looks ok on her head.
To install download the required VARs and place them in your AddonPackages folder. Then ingame load the scene Emmy_Scene.json from EmmyScene VAR. Make your tweaks to the look and save as appearance preset. :)

Another hairstyle for Yuna. This is a quite simple 2 part style but i think it looks pretty good on her. :) Modeled on Yunas head so the hair might look different on another look and you might have to make adjustments. The hair shouldnt be too FPS hungry, the physics are set to normal/lowish. You can of course adjust those settings to your taste.
To install just place the VAR in your AddonPackages folder. The hair shows up as "Yuna's Third Hair" in VAM.

Here is another look based on ingame textures. This time i used the awesome Evey textures to make this vampiress. I also made some custom morphs for the look in Blender, mainly the body, teeth and tongue. Clothes are not included, i just used some clothes for the screenshot because its a public post. :)

Here is a new experimental hairstyle i made. I used my Yuna model when making the hair, so it might look different on other looks. Its a 3 part style so all the physics settings are set to quite low (14/14). If your FPS is good feel free to crank up the hair curves and density for a better look.

Made this new hair for my free look Faye. Its a two part hair, main top and the tail. If you experience too much FPS drop, simply adjust the hair physics (curve / hair density in physics tab).
To install the hair just place the downloaded VAR in your AddonPackages folder. The hairs are named Faye's Tail Main and Faye's Tail Tail in VAM.

I realized its been a while since i released a free look so here is one. This one uses the ingame skin texture Kayla by Ren. I wanted to do something new with the body so i sculpted the base of this slightly chubby type in Blender. I think it fits her even if the face is quite thin. Made this cute look around my last hair release. :) This look also includes a couple of custom morphs made in Blender and some new textures. The torso also has a normal map thats baked in Blender, mainly for the ribs to show a bit more.
The scene in the VAR is just a simple black background so load it and do your tweaks and save as appearance preset. :)

Another hair, not super happy with this one but decided to release. I wanted to make the tails better, with more symmetry and smoother shape, but its hard, atleast for me :D
The hair is 3 parts, main hair, tails and bangs. Default color is blonde but the purple-pink version is also inculded as a .vap preset.
To install just download the VAR and place it in your AddonPackages folder. The hair parts are named PartyGirl_xxx in VAM.

I was afk some days over the past weekend but back at VAM now. :) I made this new hairstyle for the last look Alys. I think it came out pretty cute and natural looking.

Here's my final version of the wetskin clothing item. I think it looks ok most of the time allthough there are some issues with the hands and feet, and some seams.
There are quite many ways to adjust the look of the items, for example you can decrease surface offset and thickness for less of the effect, you can change alpha opacity in the materials, change color if you want it to look like something else than water. etc. Also you can change the scale of the alpha texture and normal map ...

Sort of revisiting something i tinkered with before, its a transparent cloth item that looks like water streaks and droplets on the skin. It looks OK on the torso but not on the limbs, so im trying to see if that can be made look ok.

Here is Hina. I wanted to try make a little more asian looking model, i think it came out ok looking, allthough alot of things could have been improved. She comes with her own hairstyle, a couple of custom morphs and some custom textures.
I didnt use any specific environment for the scene, its just some lights and a floor. You can load up the scene and save the apperance preset as usual to use the look in your own scenes.

Here is a super simple piece of geometry. Its just a simple room like in the pictures, but you could probably make some interesting scenes with a bit of particle effects and maybe some furniture. :) It shouldnt be too heavy even for VR, the tri count is roughly about the same as some built in VAM environments, if i counted stuff correctly.

Here's the cute natural looking Mimi. She comes with custom textures, a couple of custom morphs and a new hair. The hair should not be super heavy but if your frames drop too much just go the the physics settings and tune things down.

Here's my final version of the busty blonde bimbo Kate. I do kinda like how she turned out. I spent most of the time tweaking the face textures and normal/gloss/spec maps for this look. The diffuse textures are based on Nita textures mostly but i did some changes (lighter tone, new nipples, new genitals) so i put them all in her own VAR.
Also included is her hair, which is a slight modification and tweak of a previous hair. I think it just fit her so well so i didnt want to do anything ...

Here is a new look and two new hairs. The screens are taken without ReShade, only using PostMagic3 which settings are included in the scene. I will do a ReShade version of this scene next. Things do look a bit different with ReShade, especially skin.
