Liked the general build but aware I could go for more variety in physiology. Could make it work as a regional construct plot-wise - or through artificial means for the paled design, but that's off the record.

Yes, I have drawn inspiration for 3 characters from an old cute but horribly morbid web cartoon "Happy Tree Friends" but if it helps, when you see 'those' characters in a future project, it's guaranteed to be unhinged with my usual dark shenanigans. More later.

Just to note, these are just character designs I like way above the others. This amount doesn't scratch the surface on the characters doodled over the year or so. Then again, they're still uncolored and raw. So goodness willing, I'll have them near-presentable in the future as well.

Update on absence: seasonal depression, repressed memories and trust issues resurfaced, brother bunking with household despite living space being already cramped, and elderly aunt who took me in when no one else would and pretty much the only older family member I genuinely liked passed away between Xmas and New Years.
I can only apologize for so much - nothing in my life is stable enough to work or even live comfortably, but I AM trying...

The original etch that led me to Mazuri's current design. I like the earlier design but she isn't what I was looking for initially. Liked her enough to make her a new casting - so she's Asali now.
Lionesses working in coffee shops and eateries just fulfill me somehow. Mazuri became much more over time...

Again - so many ideas, so little time (and privacy...) - but I do have something going in that department. Fingers crossed, I get a place of my own within a year or sooner...
CSP crashed when I tried to save the sketches with the color design - I salvaged what I can. I'll need to redraw the initial sketches later.

Another design for good buddy. Got a few done down the pipeline for different bits of storytelling.
Wanted a more unique character. We're both pleased with the results.
Wanted a Dalmatian guy, Norman, for a few quick romp.
Haven't decided for Benji just yet.
Been wanting to design a character for a good buddy for a while. A rough draft of someone sinister for much darker stories; calculating but a tad unhinged. Will fix him up later.
