Update on absence: seasonal depression, repressed memories and trust issues resurfaced, brother bunking with household despite living space being already cramped, and elderly aunt who took me in when no one else would and pretty much the only older family member I genuinely liked passed away between Xmas and New Years.

I can only apologize for so much - nothing in my life is stable enough to work or even live comfortably, but I AM trying...

Not too secretly, I have been working on a huge list of character designs (human, anthro, Sonic, etc) either as a hobby or for future works for about 2 years and it led to me re-evaluating a lot of my on-going comics that had been on hiatus since I couldn't spare the time to finish those comics. Basically the new characters reshaped the direction I was going and I can surely say it's for the best.

Still, I want to really step away from fanworks and focus on my core creative nature. This does not mean I'm quitting Sonic art or retiring from preg or horror art (- not at this time though it's still weird that it's the immediate conclusion anytime I want to change something), I want to explore many other elements outside main IPs and kinks.

Mostly background and quality-of-life visuals, more serious visual storytelling and literature, and I believe I have a deep interest for character creation and designing. No telling when or if I might look into that as a solid market someday.

But yeah, there's so much to tackle that I can't keep up with due to what very little I have control with life. I don't want to quit drawing but this is totally becoming nonviable for me to continue if things don't actually shape up physically and financially soon. And the specific demand isn't making things easy either.

Especially with how unpredictable my family life is as well as the market being forcibly monotonous... I just get bored drawing the same stuff for months on end despite folks loving it and I love to explore new creative areas as a breakaway as people dislike new things. It's aggravating...

However, I do have a lot of character rough designs in store to share for some time and I'm about done changing what needed to be changes with my comics and I will either share what was removing or repurpose it for a follow-up project.

Also deciding it better to showcase future works instead of completed stuff of the current month for my plugs just to show I do have stuff planned despite my free time being iffy at best.

So yeah - still alive, still drawing, hopefully still healthy, and tackling life one day at a time. Be well, everyone.
