Awesome patron Tobias suggested a pillow fort! I have a 7-year-old, so pillow and blanket forts are a regular part of my life. None as fancy as this, sadly, but these two do have miracles on their side, to keep the ceilings from drooping.

(NSFW) WIP: impact play aftercare

By far the top request this month, suggested by our brilliant pyracantha, was aftercare following impact play featuring top Crowley. Now I don't know beans about impact play, so I asked folks on Twitter who are into that, and the consensus was that preferred aftercare features cuddles, praise, a soft blanket, some aloe or cool pack, water, and snacks. Say it with flowers

In December I posted the WIP of this, and spent the next six weeks off and on working on it. I had wanted to do something to follow up this older greenhouse piece (slide 2) for ages, and the time was horribly right to illustrate a sincere apology.

"Forgive me" looks prettier, but that is a request, and an apology is owed nothing. What Aziraphale means to say (what I mean to say) is that he's sorry, with all his heart.

Strawberry fairies 🍓

Live and in color! Crowley hunted through the strawberry patch all morning to find the nicest one for Aziraphale. They're going to go sit in the sunshine and eat it together, then go spy on the humans and make mischief ❤️

In January, Aybig suggested more fairy Omens, and I thought who would appreciate a gift of a giant strawberry better than tiny Aziraphale? Crowley picked the very best one just for him! (I never give the fairies any "efforts", so I don't consider this NSFW.)

Lunch date (& January menu)

Anthony & Alphonse go to lunch at a favorite local cafe. Anthony can't resist the pastrami dip, always tries to get Alfie to take half, but Alfie's only interested in a coffee and a kouign-amann to take with him (which he tears into little pieces and hands to Anthony to snack on while they walk back).

January coloring pages

I definitely wanted to offer the dragons as a coloring page, and I know it's a LOT but I hope at least some of you tackle it and have fun, even if it's just to like, zen out while you watch Queer Eye. This is the kind of stuff I would love to have colored when I was a kid!

Scissor & Ink: (NSFW) tender hearts

I've promised you guys some AU smut for a while now. At last! Anthony & Ezra finally come back to Ezra's place after several dates, and they're both so excited they can't stop smiling like fools. Alternate versions so you can choose your own gender adventure!

Sometimes I wind up listening to one song on repeat while I draw a thing. This time it was Future Islands' "For Sure". Might be a weird juxtapositions, I don't know, but it's a great tune.

Personal update (sickie edition)

I took December off of Patreon, but man, I really should have taken January off instead. I have had different houseguests for a month straight, and for the last several days I've had the flu. (Got tested: not Covid!) I keep trying to work on art, bit by bit, but I have to admit defeat. I'm going to be slower than usual for a little bit. WIP: Year of the Tiger

The colors, as they are right now, are so insane you'd need an eye strain warning. I threw a filter over top and it's cool to see the patterns stand out rather than the crazy colors. I'll be adding more lanterns and maybe another lion or two, but I've been working on this for like a week now and I just wanted to share where I'm at on it.

Oh, I missed our Scissor & Ink boys! I think about them whenever I hear a good dancing song. With all my heart, thank you

I've always struggled to feel proud of what I draw, but this year that's been the biggest shift for me. I've done more that I think is good and worthwhile than ever before, and so much of it has to do with you, my patrons. When I started this thing, I hoped and expected to gain like, maybe 40 patrons, tops. Sitting here at 500 more is mindblowing, and I'm deeply grateful to all of you.

WIP: Say it with flowers

I was recently pretty abominable to a friend, who has since shown they are so much more kind, patient, mature and forgiving than I expected or certainly deserve. I don't think I can come close to giving the apology they deserve, though I've offered my best and was accepted. You have to say it with words. A couple weeks ago I asked folks on Twitter for outfit suggestions, and I decided to smoosh a bunch of them together. The top half on Crowley was suggested by @Colorful_Core, the bottom by @dear_hearted, the sweater (tweaked) by @CurlyBelial and the bee bottoms by @mikaeru_ao3. I should have tilted the bees! I still want those overalls for myself.
