I think Anthony is probably one of those people who can't sit normally anywhere, and is forever perched on overturned milk crates or pretzeled into the corner of a loveseat or whatever. The best thing about this piece is that I truly loved every minute of doing it, even the parts that were sort of tedious. And I even love it despite the many imperfections and things I would change if it were digital. I like it just the way it is and it makes me really happy. Colored pencils from here on out! (Also, because a few have asked how I get it looking fairly velvety: light over dark, always.)

Instead of facing down another watercolor nightmare this month, I got out my Prismacolors, and a wonderful thing happened. No tantrum, no tears, no gnashing of teeth, just genuine happiness. It was requested a few times to have a map of Aziraphale's tattoos! I think the halo in the crook of his arm was probably the first one -- maybe associated with some sort of medical thing where he had to have blood drawn frequently, like my sister when she was a kid. Then after that he just got really attached to magnolias. To me they represent a place that feels like heaven on earth.
I thought about putting him in his birthday suit, but I don't think we're at that point in the relation...

Some of you may have seen my breakdown over this painting on Twitter. I go through the same thing every time I use watercolors, I just don't always yell about it publicly, but oh my god. Me and watercolor are not friends. We do not get along. I still want to get to where I don't hate it, but that might take some time.

Down at the Fell Inn, when Miss Crowley isn't sowing a little sin for fun and profit and cheating at cards, she's doing everything she can to make the proprietor blush. It don't take much. I Imagine Mr. Fell to be a lot like Father Mulcahy; mostly turning a blind eye to the carousing and stuff, out of genuine love for those around him.

For a friend who's been feeling low. Crowley gets a lot of cuddles around here, and I know an angel who deserves them just as much. Crowley tries a stroker, and lasts about one minute. The intention was to use it as a strap. But they've got all the time in the world! I haven't decided if this is a human AU or if they're just really excited to try all the available toys as they discover them. Pick your favorite.
