Colorin'

It's probably not a surprise that I consider color to be the weakest of my skills as an artist, so every now and then I try my hand at shading an ink sketch and see where it takes me. Usually by the time I get to the color phase of any drawing I'm over it and wanna move on, but I'm trying to be more disciplined for studies like these so I can learn something, haha.

Ethan would get Al a toy with the intention of letting him entertain himself when he's trying to study, but Al would make an awful lotta noise playing with it and Ethan wouldn't be able to look away and eventually he'd end up on his back again, textbooks looooong forgotten. 

Maybe invest in a good pair of noise-cancelling headphones to go with a toy like that, Ethan!

Flawed

This is one of my favorite panels for this whole scene - Goliath asks a tough question about human behavior, and Chuck can't really give him a good answer. Chuck's response over this shot of Al's contemplative face as he touches his earrings and gazes at Ethan speaks so much more than I could convey with words. 

I love comics for moments like this! I hope when updates resume January 20th (and you get to see the whole page in context) you find you agree, haha! (°◡°♡)

Okay not really but I do enjoy Canon Goliath's general air of innocence compared to AU Goliath's sexual prowess, haha

I think this one kinda taps into a lot of kinks actually, haha - exhibitionism/voyeurism/somnophilia/being sorta in public if we're counting a room full of sleeping demons? I like to think Goliath starts out wearing briefs but sometime in the night ditches them and Lena juuuuust can't help himself and Goliath KNOWS it hahaaaaa (•́⌄•́๑)૭✧

Progress

I thought I'd sketch myself a new Asmo avatar for funsies and I wanted to use the same-ish colors as the first one, so I opened the old file and wow it's, uh...different! Two years doesn't feel like that long but I guess it's long enough to completely change how I draw faces, haha. What will the next two years bring?! I'm real excited to keep making stuff and see where it takes me!
