Took a break from inking the comic to practice sculpting. I tried a simplified style, but some bad habits came out. I won't be using this bun for resin since it was just for practice and it doesn't have an aluminum body, but I thought it would be a nice change of pace to show inbetween comic pages.

Edit: just to clarify, if I went with a pinup it would either be at the beginning or the end, not in the middle. Lol

Weekend is going to be pretty busy because I have to go to a funeral tomorrow, and have dinner with relatives on Sunday. But here are some sketches of the main character for the KAE sequel as an adult. I went with the name Kenda because I noticed that it might be helpful to have names not commonly used in E621, though I'm still on the fence about it. Hi there, please enjoy page 4 of CMT today!
Next week I'll work on page 5, then take a break for the month of July. I want to enjoy the summer since I'm with my family again (when I was living alone & far away I was okay with working inside all the time), but there's also a funeral I'm attending, so July will probably be too busy for artwork in general. I also want to catch up on scripts & thumbnails so that the next upcoming stories and polished and not rushed.
Still feeling sick, but much better than last weekend. I made a key lime pie today.
I'm happy to have the long weekend. I'll use it to catch up on art and such. The script for the KAE sequel is almost done. I actually got too busy/sick, but looked at it a couple of days ago and was surprised how much progress it had. lol
Okay, gunna spend the rest of the day in bed now. Feeling better, but I'm ready to be lazy now.

*Edit: I knew I was forgetting something last night. Just laid down the orange filter, but I'll leave the old version up so you can see the difference.
Some minor edits. Added text in panel one, and softened the shading on the penis. This comic is an experiment with hard cell-shading, but genitals just look better with soften shadows to me.

The schedule I had this week to work on this page mostly worked out. Thankfully no one really needs me for anything, so I was never bothered while working in my room. And this page was quite a doozy to come back to being seven panels. Next page is only 4 panels, so that'll be a nice breather, though I might add another panel for pacing.

I got my business settled with my new address and license and other junk, My computer has been successfully updated. It cost me more than I would have liked, but it's been running great so far! The biggest improvement I saw was when it played the Sims 3 with less load times and lag, lol!
